I'm no doctor, but it doesn't seem as if you had Schizotypal Disorder. It sounds more like you were just being a kid, really. Teenagers often ponder death (even "normal" ones). You might have been a slave to routine (possible OCD, or possible ASD). Kids forget things all the time; it's part of being...

I don't think whether or not one has found a job is particularly shallow. People are also curious about geographical proximity--not shallow. Aspies should be able to relate to the bit about being on the bus lines.

Of course she's in the wrong. Cannabis is expensive. Tell her to buy her own batch.

It certainly puts a big hole in anyone's budget.

I'd be interested in your take on early rock-n-roll and its transition from R & B.

I agree with Tahitiii.

He'll have to learn the hard way, perhaps with a bloody nose and black eye for good measure.

It's like being between a rock and a hard place, both of which are stubborn.

De-facto Atheist myself, though I call myself an agnostic. I have no belief in a God in a Judeo-Christian sense. I have no belief in a Supreme Being which is conscious of what it is doing. There's the possibility of a "Superior Force" which governs--directly or indirectly--all interactions within th...

Books have much more varied content than TV documentaries--though I love TV documentaries.

The Peasants' Rebellion, I believe, ushered in the Early Modern Period in English history. The peasants were tired of being mired in the Medieval social order.

Were you actually diagnosed with Schizotypal disorder? Just because you believe in the Supernatural doesn't make you Schizotypal (it might make you wacky LOL). It's very common for adolescents to explore many religions in their search for an identity. This goes for adults, too. I don't personally be...

I agree with the above posters. As people with ASD's, we have to adapt to the world at large. Sometimes, it's difficult. There is no "cure"--there's only alleviating negative symptoms, and maintaining the positive aspects of ASD's. It's similar to how one with no arms use their legs just as well as ...
