When we (aspies) make eye contact and speak to people, they see our souls. People rarely get the chance to look into a pure soul. And I kind of think our "souls" are what "hypnotizes" the masses. What I mean to get across is that most Aspies I have met in life share one thing in common, they are ge...

They probably weren't even looking at you,...

If there's no biological purpose to something, it generally doesn't last very long. Good point. Sappho, the poet, lived in 600 BC... the word "lesbian" comes from her, because she was a famous poet and philosopher who wrote erotic poetry about women. So... I know homosexuality has "existed" for at ...

If you are in your teens or early 20's, I think it's hard to feel close to your family. I didn't start feeling close to mine until my 30's. I don't think it's all because of autism.

I absolutely HATE it when people are wishy-washy in responding to an invitation. Even if I say, "Do you think you'll be able to come?" Here are the equations: "I'll try to make it" = I WON'T BE THERE "Sounds interesting" = I WON'T BE THERE "Not sure yet" = I WON'T BE THERE "Possibly" = I WON'T BE TH...

I have tried to accept my intensity, but I still get down on myself about it sometimes.... but I really think it's ...

I definitely agree there is something with the testosterone level, but I don't think it's only about the mother. For example, my dad is an aspie, and I believe I inherited the AS through HIS gene(s). And my brain is more of a typical "male" brain, and I am a lesbian. Too bad this is not common knowl...
