I find it funny to compare them to being a cult.. as if they're brainwashing people into wanting treatments or cures. Those that want treatments or a cure don't need to be brainwashed and convinced of it any more than cancer patients hoping to be cured of what ails them. Again, if you don't want tr... |

They believe that autistic people are destroying their happiness, and they want us off the planet, so they can be happy again. They talk abo... |

I think the assessment sessions can vary greatly depending on who diagnoses you. You really need to avoid those that are not experienced with ASD. They don't know what they are doing. I also wonder if a "nurse" can diagnose you. I don't know exactly what a "mental health nurse specialist" is. Is he... |

It is ironic that one episode from the comedy show South Park has unintentionally done more to make the word Aspergers have a negative connotation in the General Public and among those on the spectrum then all of the money of Autism Speaks and the authority of the DSM 5. I have seen a drastic chang... |

The "modern society theory" is a pet theory of mine also. Multitasking not good for humans and especially for us. Rise in social media/always connected that also is not good especially for us. I was "functional" enough 30 years ago. I am a similar person now as I was then but now but I am lot less f... |

Standard Definition Televisions - While not "extinct" there have been no new modals manufactured in the last few years. The only reasons they are still around a lot of them still work, and the economy. |
