Traveling is a double-edged sword to me. I love the adventure, seeing new sights and just soaking in something new to wrap my mind around. But at the same time, traveling scares me to death. I feel very unsafe and out of my element. I feel at the mercy of the world. I DO NOT like being somewhere I'm...

http://www.artwanted.com/markaudette That's my old work. I haven't done any new art in over two years now. I used to be entirely obsessed with doing my art. It was wonderful and theraputic to just focus on art for hours at a time. But these days I can't even pick up a pencil. My ADD is kicking my as...

In my opinion, Paxil only really works WHILE you're taking it regularly. If you miss a couple days or week's doses then some very serious side effects can start to set in. Such as acute depression and such. Much more than before.

Unfortunately I have a very faulty Think-Before-You-Speak filter.

It gets me into a lot of unnessary trouble. I wouldn't dream of purposefuly hurting anyone's feelings or attacking what they think. But I always end up saying or doing something that offends peole.

The only way I think I know how to answer this question: YOu just deal with it. You just roll with it. You're different - just keep living your life. It was kind of like - Here I am. I'm an Aspie. I can't drill it out of my skull or get a blood transfusion to get it out of me. So pick up the ball an...

I tend to get a little sullen, a little moody when I get a bad cold.

And if I get something bad like the Flu, I find I tend to stay sad.

As a child, and even today as an adult, I still get terrified when I am around mixers, blenders, rolling things or anything you can get your hand knarled off by. It's bizarre I know but it's the truth. I have this one memory as a child. This was about 1976, I was 4 years old and my brothers were set...

I thought about playing it but there was two things that kept me from doing so: 1. My PC just isn't capable of playing mid to high-end mmo's. And I can't bring myself to buy an AGP video card. Because stupid me bought a good motherboard with an AGP slot right as the PCI Express format officially bec...

I was 18, the first chance you can get one. I couldn't wait to get my driver's license because I dearly wanted to get away from my psycho mother and see the world (well, the rest of the town...) for myself. I just wanted to be somewhere she was not.I remember being so nervous at my exam that I could...

Jack Kerouac.

Which makes me really wonder if he had AS as well...

I have AS. My Father (Charles Martin Audette) had AS. I never knew my father's mother (Edna Kerouac) since she died in 1930 but I have to wonder if she had AS too.

Wonder how far AS goes back on my Father's side?

I take Paroxetine (Paxil) for my anxiety and boy! does it work really well. Out of all the medicines I have ever taken, Paxil works the best. I'm not overwhelmed with side effects from the drug. And it honestly does help with anxiety a lot. As well as helping with depression. Paxil really works.
