One wonders what kind of definition of “actually autistic” one might be using if “diagnosed as autistic” is not the definition.
Word salad. You can “prove” anything if you get to make-up your own definitions of words. This is an increasingly popular pass time. |

^ Edible according to the dictionary means something you eat. One definition of “eat” is to “absorb”. Absorb has a number of meanings such as “take in”. You and Fnord, are welcome to your narrow understanding of “edible”. No one else is required to follow your definition. That is why dictionaries ex... |

Biodegradable computers would certainly be a step towards sustainability. One thing they have done with ingest-able tech is to provide the power from outside the body. Radio waves can pass through you. I wish they had had something more targeted when my mom was dieing of cancer. Maybe some kind of s... |

The thrill is gone. I have seen more than one eclipse. This one didn’t thrill me. My wife wanted to do something so we watched on NASA’s live feed. My 14 year old came home from school with the glasses so I glanced up and saw it with my own eyes. Perhaps I am just getting old and jaded. The Sun is s... |

Many cartoons are more popular with adults than with children: https://www.statista.com/statistics/909772/us-most-popular-cartoons-by-age/ There is also the philosophical question: is “not normal” the same as “not good”? For example: if overeating is normal, does that make it healthy? More specifica... |

Suppose you are sitting in a boat on a lake. If a speed boat comes past it makes waves. If someone in a rowboat 20 feet away drops a big stone the size of a soccer ball into the water it makes waves. If someone very clever makes a machine that measures waves coming towards your boat 3 feet away and ... |
