instead of an interview, I think companies should do a trial period with you. During the trial period they will see how quickly you can learn and how efficient and reliable you are. Those are big things they can't tell during an interview. I think they should do trial periods instead of interviews ...

You know I had 6 years when I started looking for another job and I was told repeatedly it's a huge red flag since it shows I'm "lazy and unmotivated". I'm still thinking "WTF" to this day as to why: I thought loyalty was a good thing! Seems like no matter what you are f***ed unless you are a socio...

Windows Vista came out in 2007. I suspect your PC is not as old as you think it is. Either that or you upgraded to Vista from XP, and I don't know why anyone would do that. Windows 7 maybe, but upgrade to Vista? http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z477/KaaBoom1/tsktsk_zps86208b1a.gif That's right I...

It's your birthday, celebrate it the way you want to. Don't let others or fear change this. We aspies tend to be loyal and unselfish which are good traits. But we also need "me" time more then most and sometimes these needs conflict. With all the nonsense we have to put up with we have EARNED and DE...

Bad news: I never "let go" "move on" things that happen are always a part of me. Good news: Things move from my present to my history and I learn to live with it and not have it destroy me Frustrating News: The above usually do not happen in a straight forward manor. It is 2 steps forward, 1 step ba...

4) i can get a PC or PC laptop cheaper than a Mac. You get what you pay for. My desktop computer is a Power Mac G5 that I paid $1,800 for in 2004. It's still running great with 10.5 Leopard. With upgrades to it, I have spent a total of about $2,500 on it. My total cost of ownership over ten years i...

I have gotten most of my jobs from newspaper ads actually. People compliment my resumes they just don't call back. Many (not all) people at booths I see just want to collect the resumes. If you take too long on one candidate you are creating a big line then they can't go to lunch. Career fairs for a...
