I am able to have quite enjoyable discussions with one of my children that may involve differing opinions but we both come away in a pleasant frame of mind. It’s lovely. It seems apparent to me that this is not a common occurrence in this world or we wouldn’t have endless wars, violence, and bitter ...

I mean, does anyone know of a truly superb lollipop?
I’d pass on bugs.

Even when someone says, "you are really annoying." I realize that statement is the truth to them. "You are really annoying" is not helpful constructive criticism. It is too vague, and it targets a person rather than a specific behavior of the person. More helpful would be someth...

Perhaps it would help if you had a list prepared of relevant questions or topic ideas that could help you when the conversation gets sluggish. This won't really work for an in person meet up but you could memorize a few for that situation. If you try two or three of these and the other person is una...

the ONLY way people won arguments against Christianity was because they tended to make unproven/unprovable assumptions about it. So, basically, unproven/unprovable assumptions about the unproven/unprovable? If someone knows a thing to be true, he has no need to prove that thing to himself. It’s alr...

Whether he is aspie or not does not make it ok for him to set rules for you to follow but that he doesnt seem to follow himself.
You have been overly accomodating.
He sounds more like a narcissist. Very controlling and inwardly focused.
Take care.

It is my understanding, and from experience, that it is very very difficult to smell vodka on a person's breath. Especially if it is mixed with orange juice maybe or other stuff. Perhaps some testing is in order? https://liquorlaboratory.com/can-you-smell-vodka-on-your-breath/ Choose your beverages ...
