I'm one of twins. I'm autistic but my twin isn't. I have a mild form of spina bifida which is now known to be caused by a folate deficiency in the mother. My twin doesn't have spina bifida. My mum was 30 when she had us. Off topic: After I read Mountain Goat's post I noticed the edit was done by him...

I bought some skin treatments online and after the initial transaction, they kept taking money from my account. Hundreds of dollars. Not only that, they didn't send me a thing. So I rang my bank (I hate making phone calls but I was desperate and fast running out of money) and they were very professi...

I volunteer at one of the Salvation Army second hand shops. I've been there for five years. My job there is to hang clothes on a rack, tag them, and then count how many were men's, women's, etc. It's an easy, meditative job. However, it's all changing. I've been asked to pre-sort the donated clothes...

I wouldn't say it was bad, but back in 2005 I had general anaesthetic 8 times in three weeks due to having ECT. Every time I woke up with a headache. I don't think it was the anaesthetic though. When I was five I had an eye operation. When I woke up, I threw up spectacularly everywhere. All over my ...

Thank you. :)

There's an age limit I think for donating bone marrow. I get an email once a year with people's stories about donating. It's really inspiring.

Where I live it used to be considered a rural town but now it's a small city. It's only a fifty minute train trip to get to the capital city of Western Australia.

I'm one of those autistics who has always had trouble with imagination. When I was a kid my sisters had to direct me in their games/role play. I just didn't get it. When we went to school, I'd try to hang out with my twin and her friends but she would usually tell me to go away. She knew I wouldn't ...

Hellaverse, especially Hazbin Hotel

I've watched a few episodes of Hazbin Hotel. Many scenes shocked me so I decided to stop watching. But the songs are excellent.

Definitely. Hazel eyes are boring
Are you sure? I've always found hazel eyes to be more rare and more mysterious than other colours. I have blue eyes and there's nothing mysterious about them.

My mum has stage 3 kidney failure so if she needs a transplant in the future, she can have one of mine. Mine are healthy. I signed up years ago to be a bone marrow donor and I'm on the world register. I had to give them my email address, regular address and phone number so I can be contacted at any ...

i learned how to drive about 4 years after my age peers. felt like a dweeb being the only senior on the school bus. Are you saying that every student at your school who had a driver's license had a car available to them to drive to school? Geez, when I was growing up, this was virtually unheard of,...
