An appropriate romantic gesture can be nice.

Sometimes people's aesthetics don't match up though. A gesture can be sweet to one person but gag worthy to another.

Personally, Gestures from people I just met or don't know well tends to make me wary and suspicious.

I just started watching some C-Dramas this year, so I haven't seen too many. I've come to enjoy them quite a bit and they (particularly the first) have been a good distraction from pains of this year.

-I think I have the advantage of age, on my side. -I don't care that I don't fit in. -I avoid people, so it is mutual. -I have overcome negative internal thinking through metacognition identifying what has been going on subconsciously. Yep. The dominant life forms, on this planet, are NTs. And as a...

Yep. I think a big problem for aspies, in particular, is their lack of assertiveness and having others dominate them. That doesn't do much for self-esteem. There's that but when you are different from the mass around you, there is a feeling of otherness. This tends to make people fee less than, esp...

For a very long time I was. I suppose I was around 12 when when I began to fret and be depressed about it. I want to clarify though, it has always been more. More involved than a simple fear of always being singular - without a relationship. My younger years I didn't realize this but it was after b...

Wait she said she wanted kids as a means of making you think she was interested, but only wanted sex? *scratches head* I'd think that would be a good way to send a guy running away with that kind of opening. Maybe she was hoping you'd be a donor? *scratches head again* Hookup culture has gotten incr...

I don't know if I'd say it's by any means perfect but it certainly nails the painful awkwardness. I remember relating to her to an extent but aside from some of those traits she's kind of off her rocker and I feel that takes more of a center stage for the dark humor. So in the end I found Tomoki mor...

I would define suicidal as a lot more than a fleeting thought. Cambridge Definition of Suicidal People who are suicidal want to kill themselves or are in a mental state in which it is likely that they will try to do so: Have I had a fleeting thought on rare occasions? Yes. It has never been close t...

A link? Yes

Aspergers can often be misdiagnosed as ADHD. I was given that misdiagnosis when I was a kid. To make things a little more complicated, ADHD also will accompany Asperger syndrome often too.

Set them on fire?....j/k sort of If they are teasing you and making jokes you don't appreciate then they ARE bullying you. You entirely have a right to stand up for yourself and call them out. It might not change anything in terms of how they treat you but it could. More so at the very least it give...
