| The poster was discussing autistics whose mothers did not take any drugs during pregnancy. No mention was made about these moms to be bieng autistic or depressed. |

| No study I know of says you can lose or recover from Autism. They say the traits have diminished in a few cases enough that people have lost thier diagnosis. These studies have had very small samples and they all note much further study is needed. |

| Now comes the hard part. You need to find a clinition knowlagible in how autism presents in adults. It depends a lot on where you live but in plenty of locations where these people are hard to find or unaffordable. If he agrees to be part of a study, some universities do assessments for free. |

| Don't try to have reasoned arguments with people who are acting emotional. I always thought this to be true. Neurotypicals are so emotional. A direct contrast to people with AS. Often autistics feel and present emotions differently. That does not equal not having them or having them less intensely.... |
