Unless everyone is allowed to use any bathroom they choose, it's a privilege, not a right. A right by definition is something everyone has. A privilege is something only a select few people have. If transgendered people have the right to use any restroom, then so do cisgendered people.

Why are so many women attracted to overconfident, explosive-tempered, sex-obsessed, morbidly obese guys in wife beaters? I know a guy who fits that description, and according to him, he gets more girls than anyone else. Seriously, WTF?

Also, the opinions you expressed in the OP aren't really unpopular. I mean, every SJW on Tumblr shares the same opinions. Are you an SJW?

Don't you hate it when you're going out somewhere and people ask you this question? "When will you be back? Give me an exact time." Maybe I don't know exactly what time I'll be back. I could be back in an hour. I could be back in five. I'll get back when I finish doing what I set out to do...

Women who dress like sluts shouldn't complain when perverts like me check them out. If you're wearing a low cut shirt so your boobs are jiggling all over the place, expect people's eyes to be drawn towards them. I'm not saying it's okay to assault someone who dresses like that, or make sexual commen...

I'm wondering what you guys think of this. Now that Microsoft is under new leadership, and the current CEO doesn't seem to have any interest in destroying Linux, Google, or the free software movement, has Microsoft become a non-issue? So far Microsoft has had three CEOs. Bill Gates was the evil geni...

I found a vulnerability in the library's access manager software that they use for their computers. The software is supposed to require a login using your library card number and PIN number, and it limits your time using the computers to an amount of time set by the library admins. I found a way to ...

My big goal/passion is to build a few web applications and long term, possibly a startup web company. I also hav...

Currently I use Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope and Slackware 14.1, both running in virtual machines on top of the native Mac OS X. I haven't installed Slackware to the hard drive yet; I'm still running it from the ISO file in "live CD" mode while I learn the ropes of the programs (mainly fdisk an...

I'm trying to install Slackware Linux on a virtual machine. Basically, the first step is to boot from the ISO file for the Slackware installer; after that you log in as root, and you can access all of the basic Slackware executables and other files on the install disk. I could do this every time - j...

I just installed FreeDOS, and so far it looks like a pretty neat operating system. It has a fairly complete help menu and the source code is installed in FreeDOS's filesystem. Also, it gives you a few different options when you boot, like booting into 4DOS, or booting into FreeDOS without drivers.

Agreed. You shouldn't allow yourself to become attached to someone you've never met in real life, no matter how appealing their online profile is. For all you know, your online SO might not actually exist.
