Yes I'm on paxil. I think I'm not the only one to have trouble coming off it. Ouch. Yes, I've heard that about Paxil. I think my daughter switched slowly from Paxil to Pristiq. Then to ADHD and Trintellix (Brintellix). That's interesting that they don't prescribe it anymore. I have a couple of bott...

Can I ask which one you're on, out of curiosity? Have you tried ADHD meds? I did lots of different SSRI over the years. They didn't really help, with the exception of two times at low dose. When I started ADHD meds I was able to wean off SSRI. Problem is ADHD meds raise my blood pressure  . My...

I have a chemical dependency on my BP meds. Without them I get raging migraines and can't function except in pitch dark silence. I've had strokes from not taking them. I know what you're trying to say and I'm not a big fan of SSRI myself. I know they can be hard to quit. Some people really need them...

If the medication or treatment was required in the first place, it's not an addiction.
It means that you need it.

Otherwise I'm addicted to my glasses, and my blood pressure medication.

On last check 182 / 99. Last week it was 192 / 100. I've already suffered two strokes and I have a blood clotting disorder. It's maddening because I feel like my ADHD could kill me: It caused me to lose my meds. It causes me to be too disorganised to find them. And, taking my ADHD meds raises my hea...

No, because I'm too dysfunctional. I keep thinking they'll just show up. I can barely even look for the meds because of my migraines. I'm bedridden. I'm afraid of raising my heart rate by searching the house. This is getting ridiculous. If someone could explode the sun it would help a lot. The sunli...

I still can't find my blood pressure meds.
It's been a week or two.
BP is dangerously high.
I'm already having blinding migraines.
I guess I have to stop taking my ADHD meds in the meantime.
This should be a shite-show.

I've spent a lot of time in hospital. Likely months to a year in total. I used to think it was OK in a private room if it was a quiet part of the hospital, and the nurses were attentive. It was nice to stay in bed and have someone make food for me instead of single parenting. The noise of the machin...
