Its like they just "don't get it". I was at the doctor's yesterday and getting an MRI and an attendant asked if I needed help and I answered her literally (as AS people tend to do, which you think they'd know by know): "Not from you." They yelled at me for it... for HOURS. I just didn't want her see...

At my school, if you were chronically late they gave you morning detention. You had to come in an hour early and do it. I HATED it. First of all, it made no sense to me because there had to be a reason you were always late and making you show up earlier would do fuckall to fix it (for me, it was del...

I'm just messing with you a bit. I really do have cancer and when I posted a blog about it being back, it didn't get any responses... for two months (then I deleted the page). But anytime I post about something stupid, people love it.

One reason I think it feels odd, is there's really no reason to use someone's name when you're having a conversation with them. They know who they are and presumably so do you. It's just pointless, IMO. This too. If its just the two of us talking (and with my ex it always was) then why do I need to...

Also, I don't like a lot of peoples' names. I think some parents are idiots. I mean... look at the names on reality TV. Holy hell. Are you a dog? A car? Then why am I calling you that?

MizLiz I'm snoopy I know but this means you have cancer? No. I'm lying. I didn't know you could delete facebook. I started one when I was in college then stopped using it when they let non-college people (like peoples' moms and 12 year old siblings) in. That's next on the chopping block.

OMG, y'all make me feel lucky that the worst I got was (1) incompetence and (2) an idiot therapist trying to push his fundamentalist religion on me. I'm agnostic (and he was a PUBLICLY funded employee...ugh). But wow...the abuses y'all are talking about are tons worse....I've never had one ask for ...

I''m retired. I'm just done with it. I once had someone try and give me anti-depressants (for my cancer) and I just looked at him and said "You're telling me I can't be sad. You're calling me a p****." Then I got into the medical reasons why I wouldn't take them (interactions, side effects, etc), to...

That damned thing has been an albatross around my neck for four years.

Its weird. You post a blog about a TV show and people care. Post one about your cancer coming back... and the cockroaches scatter.

The whole "laugh at the losers" thing is so much not a motivation for me because while all my classmates were becoming doctors and lawyers (and I see their names all the time in the hometown paper) I was spending a good fifteen years in and out of homelessness and on disability so *I'm* the loser e...

My teachers (until college) never knew I was AS because *I* didn't know. 1st grade - I've been writing since before I was three and reading since eighteen months. Nevertheless, I hold my pencil "wrong" and the teacher comes by with a marker to smear the back of my hand to remind me to rest it. I sti...

I'd always correct the tenth grade teacher on her anti-drug propaganda (marijuana is the first intoxicant anyone ever does, heroin is instantly addictive, you can do this with this) and then get stared down by her. She was such an idiot. One time I made a joke, "Hey. Did you hear about the MALE birt...

I kind of want to (the ten year will be in 2013) so I can laugh at the snooty b*****s who popped out three kids after graduating and now weigh 300 pounds, but I'm not friends with anyone from high school so there's no one I'd even hang out with. Also, their white trash accents annoy me.

My ex boyfriend mentioned this to me one time. He said "What do you call me? I've never heard you call me anything." (he has one of those names where there are a couple of options). And I said.... "Well, I never call anyone anything. Not my parents. Not my brother. No one." I thought maybe he was bo...

I was on it for chemobrain (and probably will be again when I go back on chemo). I didn't get anxiety, but I got really bad vertigo. I'm not sure if that's just because of how the medicine is or if my naturally poor proprioception made me susceptible. It worked on the brain fog. I was more alert and...
