On a more serious note, I think the rhetoric that Trump and his MAGAs are just like the nazis is dangerous in a "boy who cries wolf" fashion. If you wind the clock back, you will find many harsh rhetorical statements about Mitt Romney and George Bush. Nowadays both men seem to have found a...

I feel like Nazi and Hitler comparisons are cop out comparisons, because when people use them, they think what's the lowest level I can compare a person too... Hiter! And that's why it's often used, because it's a cop out. but sometimes the metaphors are apt. I thought Himmler was eviler than Hitle...

Masks can only...

Jumping into the thread a bit late, so someone may have said this already. I define the nuclear family as two committed parents and one or more children. To me it doesn't matter what the parents identify as long as they are committed to each other and raising their child well. The institution of ma...

I don't usually go in for conspiracy theories, but the timing of the announcement strikes me as suspicious. Seems to me that somebody sat on this announcement until after the elec...

I generally read CNN to keep a pulse on what the general media is saying. Every once in a while the come out with an article that I find insightful: https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/08/politics/democrats-biden-election/index.html While getting caught up in the whirlwind of the election, I didn't realize ...

Yes there is. It is called Cheyenne Mountain Complex (popularly known as NORAD, although other institutions are also present). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheyenne_Mountain_Complex The main facility is built under 2,000 feet of granite, which is very, very, very deep. *I must not mention Stargate...

Trump starts a new tv show where he pokes fun at Democrats, especially Biden? Something like that. He will continue to be the most talked about person on the planet for a long time to come. Yeah, it would really be best for everyone if we could move on from him. Unfortunately he makes big bucks for...

... Now What? Now the rest of us get to laugh and smirk and gloat over the fact that an elitist, homophobic, racist, sexist, xenophobic narcissist has been defeated in an honest election through both the popular vote and the electoral vote that put him into office in the first place.  Furthermore, ...

All in all, the 70 million support for Trump may diminish drastically once the legal and financial fallout of his loss becomes apparent. Trump may want to run again in 2024, but reality may catch up with him sooner. Oh 100% agreed. I doubt Trump runs again. American politics is historically unkind ...
