I take Paroxetine (Paxil) for my anxiety and boy! does it work really well. Out of all the medicines I have ever taken, Paxil works the best. I'm not overwhelmed with side effects from the drug. And it honestly does help with anxiety a lot. As well as helping with depression. Paxil really works.

What do I do when I'm really excited?

Make an ass out of myself, that's what.

I live in middle Tennessee, USA. I no longer know what I like. I used to have things that interested me but now everything has changed and I'm not sure what the hell is going on. I'd like to live in Machu Pichu. Or New Zealand. Or Ireland. Or Canada. I'd like to take a cruise to somewhere. I play th...

My mother constantly tried to ruin my life in every way possible. She did some terrible things to a lot of people in my family. But if she were alive today and she was in danger, I wouldn't hesitate to save her life. She was and is my Mother and for that reason alone, along as I'm alive (and she was...

In the past, yes, I used to always reveal too much. But then I took a good look at myself and the way people react around me. Then I made the very careful decision to stop being so mindlessly forthcoming. It's hard because I just want to run my damn mouth. But I have to think twice every time I say ...

Pam Farrar, who used to teach english at Meadowview Middle School during the 80's in Morristown, TN. I can't even talk about without being filled with an intense loathing and hatred for the woman. She picked on me time after time and none of it was my fault. By the 8th grade, I had failed twice. I w...

If I have a meltdown then I am either very angry or very frustrated. Or a combination or both.

So when I have a meltdown, I leave. I get away to immediately remove myself from the moment and any temptaion to do any more harm. And to cool down and come to my senses.

AND when I get really, really stressed somehow my resistance to viruses practically disappears. Like when my parents died. My Mom died in 2005 and after her funeral I got violently ill with the flu that was going around that year. No one else got sick. But I was in the bathroom puking my guts up fo...

My Dad was an Aspie and he practically never got sick in his 78 years. But about 5 years before he died he would get a lot of energy-sapping viruses. But he stayed active and kept taking his vitamin C. Me, I'm 36 and I guess I am about normal in getting sick. I get a summer flu every goddamn year an...

I am a little TOO succinct. I just get right down to the point of things. For instance: Today I went to the local bicycle shop and asked the owner if he had any "rim tape." Heavy cloth tape to keep the tube from rubbing on the inside of the spoke holes, which can cause the tube to bust. Instead of a...

20 mg of paroxetine (Paxil) a day.

I'm a wreck when I'm off the stuff. I do not like being off of the medicine at all.

I have a cousin, clean, sober and drug-free, who must take about twice to three times the normal dosage to get the same effect most people have. My wife, and I swear to God this is true, has a funny metabolism. Everything she takes has the OPPOSITE effect on her. And her sister has the same reaction...

I'm not ashamed of AS. To tell the truth, the reason I don't want to tell most people about my AS is that I just don't want to keep telling the same story over and over again. I am a secretive person by nature. My Dad was the exact same way. We don't have anything to hide, we just kind of loathe bei...

I'll just stay a closet Aspie, thank you.

I just try to maintain and secretly, silently deal with the hardships of my Aspie-ness.

To be honest, I don't really need to tell everyone about AS. I wouldn't exactly hide the fact I'm an Aspie. But I have no desire to be the militant angry in-your-face "You HAVE to accept me" Aspie. But here in Columbia Tennessee, I'm sure everyone would be very accepting of AS. It is a very understa...

I have always been a very fast walker. If there's somewhere to get to - GET THERE. Even shopping I walk fast, much to the ire of my shorter wife. She can't walk quite as fast as I do, even if I'm walking at a slower pace. If I'm out walking for the exercize, I'm hell on two feet. But if I'm out in t...
