Ugh. :( I like to get references and documentation from reliable sources, playing in Google found the following...

Sorry I know Ive posted a few times today, but thought of this too. Do any of you have favorite chunks of a favorite movie that you watch over and over? I watch the first one third of The Great Gatsby (2013) over and over, must be a hundred times at least in the past year. It's just so fun to watch ...

Anyone else have trouble with the warm weather due to the amount of loud motorcycles and cars? I barely drive but when i go out with my husband I hate how at most stop lights there is some loud Harley Davidson motorcycle or car and even with the windows closed I have to plug my ears because the loud...

Is this a typical autism thing? I feel like my ability to handle unpredictable things or handle stress (especially in work environments where you are expected to hold it together and act adult) is definitely less than a typical person. I have trouble with changes to what I am doing or in what is exp...

I used to be very quiet, and I know as I've gotten older it has gotten easier to interact with others to an extent. It is tough because on one hand it is important to try to extend yourself at times, but you also don't want to burn out. It seems to be a balance that has to be struck. Not being super...

I thankfully haven't needed to overtly lie to people much because I've mostly been dealing with the status-checking games rather than probing. I do have compartments in my life - some I can share with others, some are easier online (such as here) because there are very few people who will ever meet...

autisticelders , Since I'm an Aspie I will be honest...I am not an expert on NT behavior. But I have stumbled across some relevant educational material on the Internet. For instance, you might find this uncyclopedia.wikia.com entry on " Neurotypical syndrome " interesting. I like that Neu...

Eh, kinda had a meltdown last week. Came home from work just about catatonic, went and curled up in bed and had to hide for awhile. Got a little better next day. I honestly don't know how normal people handle so much in life with such ease. I just work a job that isn't too complex but any stressors ...

Thank you for making this thread. I still struggle some with this, though my husband will point out how I am most definitely autistic it can still be hard when I seem to be able to blend in (in certain situations), and how others who don't really know about autism think it must only be XYZ traits wh...

I'm heterosexual and I'm in a healthy loving relationship with my NT boyfriend and I know what love is and how to express it, and I'm not with him just for sex at all (he's not with me just for sex either). Is that usual or unusual for an Aspie woman? Yeah I'm the same way with my husband, tho sex ...
