Hi and a warm welcome to you :). This may help if you have no-one to go along with you as a support, or in conjunction, with a support person … ‘My Health Passport’ is a resource for autistic people who might need hospital treatment. The passport is designed to help autistic people to communicate th... |

Have long loved Fleetwood Mac. :) Managed to see them in concert in London pre-covid, when all were still alive & playing onstage together, before the split with Lindsay Buckingham. Saw “Daisy Jones & The Six” more recently (loosely based on them), the 2023 drama. There are some good books b... |

Hi kitty - you should be receiving disability benefits, or perhaps your sister was, on your behalf: https://www.forbes.com/advisor/legal/disability/california-permanent-disability-benefits / If you need someone to check on & sort this out, so that you’re in control of your own money in future, w... |

Night Swim - First movie to star a haunted swimming pool. Was ok … Enjoyed getting out to a cinema, first time in a good while.

Yes, though its been revised to the year 2010(as of 1st October) under the latest Equality Act … this simplified the laws & removed previous inconsistencies. Oh Is! Only just read this now. So sorry to hear what you’re currently going through. Thinking of you & hoping for answers for you as soon as possible & a clear, smooth path to clearing this up, whatever the cause. Can imagine what you & your partner are going through. Gentle Hugs. |

Hi WofM :). Yes, dissociation can occur even when there has been no past trauma, though it’s mostly seen in those of us who have experienced traumatic events. It can occur when the mind experiences too much stress. You aren't born with DID, but you can have a genetic predisposition to dissociate. Di... |

I’m looking forward to seeing The Pope’s Exorcist & Renfield. :)
I've seen all three of these films. I enjoyed all three. Renfield is comedy/horror. The Pope's Exorcist is horror. It is also "inspired" by real events, and a real person.
Good to know, pcgoblin. “Invaders... |

I watched Cocaine Bear last night (currently on holiday in Cornwall.) It’s loosely inspired by the true story of an American black bear that ingested nearly 75 lb (34kg) of lost cocaine in Georgia back in 1985. Thriller/Comedy(2023) Though I’m not into violence or gore, this was well worth the watch... |

I do like Cex, but they’re overpriced for hardware, compared to say, Ebay. Their cheaper items tend to be blurays & dvds. Built in drives stopped being a thing a few years ago, because people don’t buy games or any other software anymore via physical media. It’s all either downloaded or a servic... |

Also, dvds & blurays will work on Playstation 3 or above[provided they have the same region code as your console]. |

i was staying in Wales(got to visit Mountain Goat), when the place in Llansteffan I rented, had a bluray built into the tv. Loved the resolution so much, when I got back home, bought a separate bluray player & massive tv(my solution to no more cinema due to covid :P) Plenty of good 2nd hand tv/b... |

Sorry guys, but it has nothing to do with the resolution. If your laptop has a dvd player & not a bluray player, it will never work. It’s a different technology altogether. |
