Apparently some people who grew up in the USSR can't understand why people in North America are walking around in their pajamas. Back then you had school clothes, you'd change out of them into your regular clothes after getting home, and then into your pjs at bedtime. To be seen in your pjs in public...

By feeding a computer food with artificial ingredients.

Why is it that we can tickle other people, and other people can tickle us, but we can't tickle ourselves?

The same reason some non-religious families have all daughters. What does OP have against families with only daughters, anyway? :?

In all the kids' PSAs I've seen about stuff like bullying, someone being abused by their parent, or "bad touching" they say to tell an adult you trust, and examples include your parents, a doctor, a teacher, a police officer, or whatever. And then you'll learn you can't trust them or anyon...

There's an adult Scooby-Doo cartoon where nearly all the main characters are non-white and stars Velma as a South Asian. And it's terrible and almost universally hated by people of different races. Scooby isn't even in the show, because a talking dog would be so immature. And yet the show is actuall...

I'd be tortured and executed as a witch for sure. I'm left handed, that alone would be enough to get me killed.

I don't get why so many people are like, "women shouldn't be into video games/playing sports/becoming a doctor/becoming a police officer/becoming a chef (outside a household kitchen)/driving/voting/going out in public without a male escort", but then they're like, "Since you're so lib...

I baked some red mini potatoes. I used olive oil, which I accidentally spilled all over the place, and on my pants, but the potatoes turned out well.

The way Americans have to make every single thing political is insanely ridiculous. Hot dogs weren't even originally an American invention. Neither are hamburgers or apple pie.

I slept in late and had some really uncomfortable dreams. In one of them there was a young girl resting on my mother's couch covered in a blanket, I don't know who she is, but it looks like my mother took her in. She then offers me some random objects, like an old electric lamp and a large plastic t...

In the 1960s there was an anime called 8 Man that was brought to North America and was very popular. 8 Man was a guy who was killed and then reborn when a scientist puts his life force into an android body that gives him superpowers and runs on atomic energy. He is considered Japan's earliest cyborg...

Where I live, holding doors open for people of any gender or age is just common courtesy. People do it almost instinctively. :)

We're supposed to be getting a lot of rain late tonight and I'm afraid the power will be out for hours again and I'll have to cancel getting my groceries tomorrow. I'm afraid to buy frozen food now because it could thaw out in a power outage and I had to throw a lot of it out after hurricane Fiona. ...
