Yep, me too, exactly so. Which is the problem. We show interest - they get intimidated, scared, or something...

We try too much, or too little.
Or both.

I guess it's a matter of place and level of alcohol. 1. In a comics book store "You have the latest XYZ?" "Not yet, but if you like that you might enjoy ABC." 2. In a café "Oh I just got the latest issue of XYZ!" "Yeah, I don't know much about comics but good for y...

Yes, not so often nowadays, and I wouldn't say it is/was a problem, but yes.
(I was going to ironcally answer no, but decided not to)

That's until everyone around you starts getting drunk, then you end up being the only one acting normal (if you don't drink).

No, if everybody except you is getting drunk you're the weird one.

Just something to keep in mind - if you are going to report on it or make decisions based on your results. No I'm not. You said you had a “hunch”. You could also call this your “hypothesis”. The results will only prove (or disprove) your hypothesis as far as your universe. I guess Hypothesis could ...

what exactly does "uncertain" mean? a. I am uncertain there is a god b, I am uncertain I belong to a religion c, I am uncertain if I am religious d, I am uncertain of which religion to pick? Pretty much all of the above, I could have phrased the option "Atheist/Agnostic" but I'm...

This survey may suffer from “self selection” bias. You may find out “who is willing to report religious beliefs” is not an exact match for “wp members in general” as you universe.

That is a fair claim. How should I do it, you think?

And to be clear, I don't really seek for discussions. I think it's OK whatever your believes are, as long as you're a decent person.
I used to call myself an atheist, but I prefer the term agnostic now.

Ok, fair, this has been discussed before.
I don't travel to all sub forums, because I just don't have the time.

I've had the exact oposite experience. I drink at least half a litre of milk with my lunch, so I tend to bring my own, I am also a bit picky with what kind of milk to drink. But I've been told several times that I should just have some of the milk supplied by the workplace. FWIW, I think you're in t...

It was OK for me in my youth, but it's been getting worse over the years. Bad breath, perfumes, artificial smells like in some chewing gums and energy drinks. I believe it's a major reason why I started smoking, not that I'd advice anyone to do the same. It's kinda funny, I don't have a (big) issue ...

It happens. Not very often but it does, usually when I take things too literary. Sometimes when I don't get enough information. EG a teamleader asked me to take all the bilge pumps inside and when I did he had to explain that he meant all the bilge pumps that weren't in use . It happened quite often...
