Just your luck----that you encounter this sort of thinking.

It doesn't mean this is the predominant thought-pattern of the US populace.

That's the way the news has been since there has been "news." People don't just report the "good stuff" most of the time; the "good stuff" doesn't sell papers, or TV ratings, or whatever "papers" are called on the Internet. I guess "papers" are calle...

Rival African tribes would (usually) capture people of other tribes, and "sell" them to the Europeans.

Or (related): the Europeans would pay the “rival African tribes” in some sort of currency for those “tribes” to capture their rivals for the Europeans.

Certainly never said you should reveal your exact location.....or even your approximate location.

I meant more along the lines of----any particular organization you encounter----certainly not "where you live."

I'm liberal in some respects, conservative in others.

I'm most akin to what is termed "Social Democracy," which is rather dominant in Europe, but not so much in the US.

A nihilistic viewpoint is understandable....but is not practicable within the present world environment.

It seems to me that most of the Royal Family are pretty "regular" people who happen to be exposed to a lot of scrutiny. They've all had advantages, certainly. But, in essence, most are people who would not be extraordinary were they not "Royals." Would Harry have had a somewhat d...

It's like a Rorschach image......one can interpret it any way one chooses to interpret it.

Don't forget: it was thought, at one time, that there were "canals" on Mars.

I live in the biggest city in the country. If there were many people who make excuses for China and Russia, they would have exposed themselves to me in various ways.

Where do you meet these people who express sympathy for Russia and China?

We humans have done bad things....but we've done good things, too. I see people on the street every day. Those people are only thinking about making a living for themselves or their families. They don't have the TIME to think of evil things to do to other people. Idleness is probably the reason why ...

I'm in both a university and a working-class environment. I'm around some people who others call "woke," and others who are rather conservative, and might even like Trump. I don't know anybody who remotely expresses support for Russia and China. Maybe if you go to Trotskyite convention......

The Africans taken on slave ships across the Atlantic had no debts to their captors.

Those are not accurate. I guess I would have came out 5 foot 3 on one of those things.

I, actually, don't know anybody who "falls for the CCP's propaganda."

Maybe you ought to speak to real people, rather than idiots on the Internet.

We "won" against the Taliban----but "lost" when we withdrew from Afghanistan.

Anybody who is actually 5 foot 7 3/4 will say he/she is 5 foot 8.

If you grew up in a middle-class environment, even a working-class environment with decent nutrition, you probably achieved your optimum height.

I would have came out 5 foot 4 3/4 had I had the best nutrition, etc. I grew up working/middle-class.
