If I had a choice, I wouldn't change who I am. My Autism hasn't stopped me from doing what I want either. I've watched the NTs all my life and I just wish I knew a way to get them to understand that there are those of us who want to be who we are regardless of the difficulties that might challenge u...

I can "fake it" to the point where by all appearances, I would appear to be an NT. So some people might wonder why I wouldn't want to stay in disguise all the time? The answer is simple: Because I shouldn't have to. Why should I hide who I am? I like being me, and if someone doesn't like me being me...

Welcome to the club. I recognize prejudice (usually) but do not understand why anyone would be prejudice myself (I think I am at least a fairly to very tolerant individual). When I sound otherwise it is usually unintentional due to issues w/ expressing myself. I sympathize most w/ those who are dis...

I checked around and I think you have me confused with someone else, but thanks anyway.

Hello, everybody! I'm Back! I registered last year, but I disappeared after a while. During that time I've learned a lot for I am now fully self-aware and can now at least try to really understand the world around me. However, something has been troubling me lately. PREJUDICE!! I have no understandi...

I'll take the courtesy of answering some of your replies: I've been single all my life (21 years). Throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school, I asked about 10-12 girls or so in that duration. All of them rejected me You only asked out 10-12 girls? did you seriously expect to get ...

My sympathies, pal. I myself have never had any real romance in my life. However, when I was in school, I really wasn't ready for it. I haven't given up on the idea of it, but if it doesn't happen, then so be it. ZakFiend has a good point. If you still want to try, then do what I'm going to do: Find...

Aye, I can relate to that. I'm a visual learner and there's nothing visual about talking on the phone. I don't use the phone if I don't have to. I can't always hear what the person on the other side is saying and vice versa. Then I would have to repeat myself and that I REALLY hate.

Hello, everybody! Kyle "The Ghost" here! I want to ask everyone here how they feel about cliffhangers. They are the endings in movies, books, and TV series that leave you hanging and you have to come back just so you can know how it ends. Like those multi-part episodes on the old 1960s Batman series...

Indeed. The same seems to go for all the other characters. Is this intentional, or one of those things they don't expect you to think about?

Frank Grimes: "That irresponsible oaf? (Homer) A man who, by all rights, should have been killed dozens of times by now?" Lenny: "Uh, 316 times by my count." A number of characters have cheated death like in the episode "Homer The Smithers", Mr. Burns fell out a window in his office and survived, bu...

I chose mine because it is a ghost. I chose a ghost because my nickname is "The Ghost". I call myself Kyle "The Ghost" because I feel like I'm trapped in a world that's got so many problems that I don't feel like I belong in it. I do not understand this social world. Also, I've always liked ghosts i...

I never did like talking on the phone. I'm a visual learner and there's nothing visual about a phone. I don't talk on the phone if I don't have to. My dad is the same way and because of that, my mom is stuck with answering ALL the calls. You see people all over the place, and even while driving, tal...

I would chose to have powers that are similar to that of a ghost. You know, invisibility, passing through solid objects, and whatever else a ghost can do. Hey, I'm not Kyle "The Ghost" for nothing!

"You don't know what you got until its gone." Aye, that be too true. People have a tendency to take people and things alike for granted, probably thinking nothing will ever happen to them. It isn't until after you lose them, you realize how that person or object affects you and your life. Then you w...
