I imagine studios, and the people they employ to create products for them, share a goal - to get as many people to engage with that product as possible. For the studios there might be more of a financial incentive to that, for the creator maybe more an artistic one. Either way, the more people engag...

Just feel like crying. I can't cope with these neighbours of mine any more. Not just the people upstairs but some of the people from the other apartments too. They come to the communal garden on a Sunday night and have a big noisy barbecue. So we have to shut our windows, as they're right outside o...

I used to drive Minis which I liked because you could repair them easily yourself but being over 6 foot they were never too comfortable for me. The car I really liked and wanted was a Vauxhall Viva. My neighbour had a silver one which I envied. I think I liked them because there's a bit of American ...

The happy faces felt polite to me. Maybe that says more about me, because in general terms, when people are nice to me, I just think they’re just trying to be polite… It had never occurred to me before this test that one could make a 'polite' face. I can understand saying something polite but how d...

When even fourth grade starts looking good
Which you hated,
And first grade's looking good too,
Overrated,
And you boys long for some little girl
That you dated
Do you long for her or for the way you were?
That summer feeling is gonna haunt you
The rest of your life.

Off-topic kinda, but flying kites is a highly underrated activity imo. You should have offered to let her have a go, she was probably jealous.

Perhaps you, like me, feel you have to present a facade of extreme competence to the world in order for people to like you? You made two mistakes, from what I understand. Both of which were entirely relatable. Everyone misses an exit from time to time. Everyone leaves something behind and has to go ...

I got 13, but some didn't seem to correlate to any of the emotions for me and the longer I looked at the ones I instinctively got the less sure I was.

If there had been a 'Holding in a fart' option I'd have chosen that for most of them.

I'm not fully like you in that I am quite comfortable with my own company and spend a lot of time alone, but I do get lonely sometimes. Have you explored podcasts at all? I listen to quite a lot and find them more comforting than an audiobook or TV. You do feel a bit like you're in a conversation wi...
