Why Are Children Losing Their Autism Diagnosis? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/arshya-vahabzadeh/autism-diagnosis_b_4885084.html?utm_hp_ref=healthy-living If it was just The Autism Speaks survey I would not bother with it but this is backed up by academic studies. There has been another study I don't...

For years I thought Manfred Mann was saying douche. I never misheard CCR "Bad Moon Rising" but for years on "Down in the Corner" s instead of "if you got a nickel" I thought they were singing the N_Word and I was wondered why that was allowed on the radio. I never misheard the other lyrics on the list

I too would be interested to know what makes them think what they think regarding missed diagnoses in girls. I might have not written well what I meant to say. At the time I wrote it I had no knowledge of how they decided who was diagnosed because I had not seen the second link. Because, if a girl ...

If they do not know you are autistic just say I can't function at all when it is past my bedtime. I have heard a lot of people explain bad reactions due to lack of functioning at certain time of the day. If they press say I was mentally past my birthday. If they do know you are autistic this is an o...

Somehow the link is working for a few minutes then I get an error message. Go to the USA Today website and search for Autism The problem with the study is not the study itself but that females are often not diagnosed or misdiagnosed so the genetic "glitch" may be causing autism but the researchers a...

One problem I have with communicating with people is that I do not know the level of knowledge they have. If I talk below their level(of extremely literal here) I am going to come off as condescending. If I talk above their level they will not understand me and I may come off as haughty/elitist etc....

I wanted to slap her so badly, but I didn't because that would make me look like a stereotypical special ed student. After that I told her to never disclose anyone's diagnosis without their permission again and I stopped talking to her afterwards. You have to allow people to make mistakes. You have...
