I guess it depends on the person. For me, I had a 45-50 minute interview and filled out one non-autism based questionaire (to rule out things like bipolar, depression, social anxiety and the like). I was supposed to have 3-4 sessions total. When I went back in my second day though, I didn't do much ...

That is exactly how I feel! I am 26, go to university, with a current A average. On the other hand...I am 26 and sometimes feel younger than the 20 year old I go to school with. I did everything late it seems, and I still live with my parents. I lot of people I went to high school with are married w...

My hair is highlight, but other than that, I don't do anything to it. I just got a nice new straightner for Christmas, and it looks simple enough when others use one, but my hands just can't seem to figure it out. I also cannot properly put my hair up and have it look nice, so I don't.

This might seem bizarre since I am so socially inept; however, I am currently getting my degree in the social sciences. I am wondering, are there any people with Asperger's/High Functioning Autism who are in similar positions....right now I am considering: anthropologist, professor (of religion, the...

I am O+ and I am neither energetic or social---that system would surely backfire on them in my case!

I am graduating with a BA in May 2012, and will hopefully begin my MA in Sept 2012. I may also go further to a PhD, but I am already a "mature" student--almost 27. I love school, but I honestly have no clue what I am going to be capable of once I get my degree. I am thinking about that a lot lately....

Sound: Moderate. Absolutely hate loud, unexpected sounds. Alarms, sirens, incessant dog barking or babies crying all really hurt after awhile. Also hate steady screaming (I work in an auditorium where there are big concerts, and the screaming which they think is cheering is an issue for me). I often...

Right now it is autism, as well as religion. Two different things, but there you have it. I have been obsessed with various religions for ages, particularly the cultures that manifest from them, different theologies, scriptural studies, history of religion, etc.

I scored a 48/50 for the AQ test. For the EQ-SQ test, I scored 11 (EQ) and 89 (SQ) for a result of Extreme Systemizer. I had taken another EQ test with many of the same questions, only this one had 60 questions, just a few minutes ago, and I scored 7. Clearly I lack empathy. The funny thing is, I ne...
