So, you think that your not believing in military service makes your desire for totalitarian thought-control any less a fascist idea? I don't want totalitarian thought control. I want hate speech laws, and criminalize speeches that discriminates disabled people (autistics included), or because of e...

I didn't find out til I graduated high school. After high school most people aren't so butthurt about these things. I think Butthurt is kinda Inflammatory. I had rocks thrown at my skull, I was lured into the HS auditorium during a rally, told that I had won a kiss from the head cheerleader (who I ...

Just thought I'd broach this question as I gave things a good look over. A few questions that come to mind: 1) What kinds of topics tend to generate the most rewarding dialog? 2) How do people politely deal with flooding? 3) How does a board's culture stay assertive without getting boorish or recep...

Sure, if God has to conform to logic. Why shouldn't God conform to logic? Everything else does. Because God does not have to conform to human logic; or, in simpler terms, human logic is too limited to account for God. Thus, even the 'logic' of the Ontological Argument -- being an imperfect human co...

Many topics have mis-formatted pages, and scrollbars within frames for each post. It's incredibly annoying and ugly. Is there a fix? Anyone else experience this?

The CDC released a report last week that suicides in the United States have increased by 30% over the last 20 years. They said that not every person who committed suicide suffered from a mental illness. They said that it has to do with a number of factors such as a relationship breakup/divorce, a j...

Seems a lot of people here believe (falsely) that the more laws & bans a nation have, the closer it is to fascism. Let's see... Denmark is a fascist nation by these definitions. So is the U.S., Norway, Sweden, Germany, France - I could go on all day! How come a lot of people believe that just b...

I'm Glad he was elected. I didn't vote for him and I wouldn't have voted for any of the other candidates, because I didn't like any of them and there isn't a thing that anyone can say to make me feel remotely guilty about it because it's my vote and if somebody has a problem with that they need to g...
