Currently 44% for Yes and 56% for No.

Still to hear from Glasgow and Edinburgh and some of the other larger local authority areas.

This just in ... "The Yes camp has announced that they have likely won Glasgow by 54 percent to 46. While this is a victory, the SNP relied on a bigger majority in key urban areas (with many suggesting at least a 57 threshold to secure overall majority) and the atmosphere in the Yes camp appears su...

The polls open in Scotland in just over 12 hours. Do the polls close at 10:00 p.m. like most votes/elections? My understanding is that they will be open from 7 am until 10 pm local time. I wonder how long it will take to count the vote. I read that from some of the outlying areas, the ballots may b...

Great Britain is a geographic entity - the shared island. The United Kingdom is a political entity comprising Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. If we vote for independence on Thursday we'll still be part of Great Britain, but we'll leave the United Kingdom. The currency issue is a massi...

The difference in the approach of the 2 sides is that while the No campaign were holding a question & answer event to give the public much-needed information, the Yes campaign were holding a pop concert. The Yes supporting Scottish government have granted 16 & 17 year olds the right to vote ...

I kept thinking it was Wednesday today instead of Tuesday. I think I just want Thursday's Referendum to be over. Many people I speak to are increasingly anxious and there is a horrible atmosphere, I think. No voters that I know are saying that they don't want to become independent but if that happen...

Ultimately, it doesn't really matter why the OP's boyfriend reacts badly to reasonable requests from her. What matters here is the effect his behaviour (the foot stepping) has on her . "I...

My advice to you is to think very carefully about whether you wish to continue this relationship. I know that sounds very pessimistic, but if he refuses to accept that his behaviour is out of the ordinary or that he may have Asperger's then it will always be you who has to accommodate him, and you w...

What do you mean, we now have Orange marches in Scotland? Orange Walks are a regular feature of life here - not one I support at all.... Wow! I studied the Orange marches in college 30+ years ago! I had no idea that they continue today, especially with how intimidating and hostile they became then....

Here is the text of an email which I sent this afternoon to my English member of parliament - I will post his reply when it arrives! I have already told you of my concerns about the Islamic Lunatics, and today's news of another beheading is terrifying - they are coming our way, and a 'measured resp...
