One time I cried when I learned my math teacher left the school. This was between 7th and 8th grades, actually, so it was really strange.

Igh... I really hate them. No simpler answer than that.

If I could have my best friends over without ever having to worry about social matters like calling them on the phone or acting properly once they arrive, I would.

Hm... If I were asked this question, I'd probably begin by explaining to them how I see myself as somebody who exists between autism and normality. I can describe my autistic tendencies, but at the same time look at them critically and explain my thoughts. I can't handle loud noises well, which, com...

No, I never did. Admittedly, I wrote a few stories about doing so, but never had the nerve to do it myself.

I'd say I'm too nice on the outside, but too mean within. Does that make sense? People think I'm a nice, friendly fellow, and I am a lot of the time, but I admit to being judgmental and I find myself uncomfortable with particular people a lot of the time.

Ha! I know I'm on an an Asperger's forum when I'm smiling at everybody's responses.

Thank you for all your suggestions. I'm beginning to worry it might be a heavily localized sort of handshake, so I might have to ask somebody or otherwise figure it out.

Alright, I've been in this situation more and more often but still don't know exactly what to do. I accomplish something great and in a congratulatory motion somebody (my age--I'm in high school) puts their hand out, but isn't expecting a handshake because his or her hand is always limp... What am I...

I have three main ones (two of which don't work today because the server they're on is taking some maintenance time). The King's Storeroom -- A Legends of the Hidden Temple fansite. Empyreal Light -- A flame fractal gallery with my fractals within. The Marvelous Text Effext Generator -- A gradient t...

I wear my cargo pants (and pretty much all pants, actually) for multiple days, but wash my shirt each night. I don't know why, but it just feels like my torso gets dirtier than anything else.

Yeah, I feel the same way much of the time. It's weird to be inside the world but outside of it at the same time, so I get that outside-looking-in effect, but an inside-looking-out one at the same time. It is tough to describe; you're right.

No, no, no, and no. The thought of innocent people dying in a freak disaster absolutely terrifies me.

I generally find that the more tired I am, the less I bother "acting" to be NT, so I kind of default back to aspie.

People often say I don't have any common sense, and it think this messes with me more than I think... If that is possible. :? On multiple occasions, my mother has criticized my slow response time to urgent issues, such as spilling a glass of milk. She'll often say, "don't think about it--just do it!...
