While I’m aware some people live well into their 90s, I think my life will be shorter due to he... |

Hi Claradoon. Good to see you again.
Kortie is right. Your diagnosis is just fine here, should be in Canada too. Best wishes. |

The Upper Peninsula is beautiful. Lakes and rivers. Pine trees. Forests.
But insular locals. No jobs. No mountains. |

I think it is okay to say people can’t connect with you. It’s accurate, not aggrandizing. Some conditions are extremely rare. My sister died of a cancer only a few have had. Because of my work, I come across disabilities that are exceedingly rare. So, I believe you. All I can do is say, I hear you a... |

BTW, I like your quote. And…there is a time for deep personal, private reflection. I’ve read about people who take retreats in places like monasteries, retreat centers, etc. Some are silent. Others not so. I’ve wanted to go to Plum Village in France, but fear their level of asceticism is too much fo... |

I think there may be more spiritual and non-pissing contest people than you think. Start volunteering for hospice and discover all the angels there. Take a look at the people who work to protect the rights of people with disabilities. Get into one of these subsets of humanity and find it there. Work... |
