What are some examples of his " social blunders"? I wouldn't think it'd be a bad thing to talk about them with him, as long as your not calling him out in public or using his flaws to come up top socially. Again good advice. Social blunders learning not to share everything with everybody....

This is also good advice don't correct every mistake but give a bit of guidance and have a bit of faith the message will take hold.
