I too play a game of "how fast can I do this". I haven't timed it, but when I want to I bet I'm not too far off from 60 seconds.

If I can't have an apple after dinner each night I get uneasy. I also keep celery in the house for that reason. Fo...

It takes me time to process and internalize stuff, so I would do the 8-week also. Back in the day I did lots of personal growth workshops. I got a lot out of them. Though, in retrospect, I was living in something of a fool's paradise; it never occurred to me there might be something odd about attend...

I'm gonna bet they don't really count as Westerns, but my top three would be (in order): Paint Your Wagon, Blazing Saddles, and Cat Ballou. :D

Music for me also. More specifically old-fashioned gospel music, because in addition to its musicality it taps into my spiritual beliefs and brings them to the fore of my consciousness.

.. addiction which I knew about for years and did something about 22 years ago... What sort of things do you do to work on this hardwiring? Without question, one of the most helpful books I've read is: Stress Management, Matheny and Riordan I read it over 20 years ago and still apply what I learned...

He's a real cutie, and I'm glad you guys got along well. I was in a relationship for 13 years with a guy I got along with very well; our idiosyncrasies complemented one another. :D I've been single since (except for one year), and still look back fondly and gratefully on our time together. <Sigh. What a coincidence - I was speaking with my therapist about this just yesterday, though within the context of Pathological Demand Avoidance. The connection there was that my demand or expectations avoidance stems from anxiety over anticipated negative responses. Its origins in my childhood and teena...

I was repeated bullied over my appearance, called a loser, even my dad called me ugly a couple of times. Ahh... Yes, well, that sure catches my attention. I am currently working with some very hard-wired triggers that bypass any attempts at reframing or thought replacement, and instead go straight ...

Yes - If it is a professional setting where correctness makes a material difference. No - Any other time. I notice the boo-boo, and sometimes have to bite my tongue harshly, but if it is a casual conversation I figure the main objective is that everyone enjoy the experience, and few people enjoy bei...
