I guess you are right. I just see examples of rather eccentric people ((not per se) Adam Smith, Ayn Rand, Peter Thiel, etc.) and where they are now (read:DEAD with the exception of the last one) . And I guess it kind of discourages me since it seems like everybody is cookie cutter (I know not all of...

I don't know. I just kind of feel awkward with my views, especially in the small town I live in. It just seems like if I were to ell my date any of those things, I would be royally misconstrued. Not per se on programming, but on the other things. I am not afraid of so much what they say, but actuall...

Gotcha. So it would be the same as saying in C: " int car= car+1" . Kind of the same thing? Just like car is still an int, zipcode is still $_POST code?

so the $_POST is for sending data, and the other is a variable that stores it. (sorry for being a pain)

So is this similar to gets or scanf in C? Basically they capture the input and send it to a variable?

// $_POST['zipcode'] holds the value of the submitted form parameter // "zipcode" $zipcode = trim($_POST['zipcode']); // Now $zipcode holds that value, with any leading or trailing spaces // removed $zip_length = strlen($zipcode); // Complain if the ZIP code is not 5 chara...

Hello I tried calling the chairman of the Libertarian party of MIchigan. I have not received a response to my call. I guess my question is, how do you go about startinh a third party chapter in your own town? Should I just call the chairman again? Then to the second part, how do you find like minded...
