I've just noticed that this is in the women's section. I arrived here via the recent posts page originally. So the theme here is female friendships. I do find that my interests are often not very stereotypically female and therefore it is more difficult to find buddies to go with me or join me. I'm ...

I don't think we are all going round commenting on people's intelligence in real life. Don't worry. No one in this thread is that clueless or rude. But in defence of the thread, you have different kinds of conversation with intelligent and less intelligent people. My sister's mother-in-law is no whe...

I think this thread is using the term IQ quite loosely to just mean intelligence. Yes it's elitist to be all like, ooh I could get into Mensa, but the facts are some people are more and less intelligent than others. That's just how it is. Your average Joe Bloggs wouldn't talk about intelligence beca...

Probably. No one said that was the reason, they probably didn't know what autism was, they just knew we didn't vibe. Most gutted I've been is to be rejected by someone autistic because I had found my kin and even he judged me harshly. Can't win. Were you rejected by any other autistic men or just t...

Why do I attract/get along with people with mild learning difficulties? Because we don't fit in with mainstream society, the only people we are likely to attract are fellow oddballs of one kind or another. What kind of oddballs we attract will depend on, among other things, our interests. Other fac...

Women don't warm up to beta males until well into their 30's. And even then, the attraction is strictly utilitarian: to give themselves a stable lifestyle with the beta male's money. First by moving into his house, then by taking 50% upon divorcing him. The lusty sex-crazed desire they feel toward ...

You guys need to stop comparing yourselves and focus on yourself. There are plenty of Aspie men who are dating/married There is no reason why a good number of autistic men cannot do the same things NT men do to become attractive to women: 1. Lose weight and get fit. 2. Be well groomed with an age a...

No. Due to taking precautions and having vaccinations no one I know has become so seriously ill that they've been hospitalised or died. I know one person with long covid, but apart from that my workmates, friends and family are all safe and sound.

We still need to take care, but it's not futile.

I usually just assume it wasn't me who set it off and keep walking. I never get stopped. The one time I did set it off was walking into the store. I had just bought a pair of pliars from a hardware store, put them in my bag and went straight to the supermarket. The alarm went off when I walked in an...

Funny thing with that is I think aspies can come over as a bit narcissistic. We might not be overly concerned about plucking our eyebrows (both male and female), I mean f**k social conventions am I right, but that assured rejection of what others value, coupled with our self assurance in the things...

Shakespeare's Sisters Stay is a pretty creepy song. I don't think they want you to stay for wholesome reasons. You need to try and escape now.
