If you want evidence, look back at how the Earth was when it was markedly warmer than today. It was hardly a disaster.

Yes, there is natural climate change. But the warming has accelerated far more than what could be "natural." What took decades/centuries are now taking mere years. Yes, and it's absurd to say that it's been disproven, as almost 100% of scientists agree that climate change is man made, sav...

All God's children got algorithm.

(That was supposedly generated by a computer program years ago!)

For mankind to have a great future, we need global warming if it can help keep the next period of glaciation in this ice age from occurring or at least lessen the severe blows.

A warm Earth is a productive Earth. Cooling means starvation.

Why can't people just stop being so negative, and give the president a chance? The economy is doing so much better and I feel like he's doing a very good job. He needs to build the wall faster, though The wall won't do much of anything for our security. It would be much more cost effective to add m...

And since we are on the inane subject of Congress doing unlikely things like converting en masse to the Amish religion: What if Congress were to convert to Aztec Sun Worship? Would we be forced to build a big pyramid in the middle of DC, as the stage for our human sacrifices? Cut out a dude's heart...

the whole tRump phenomenon embarrasses me more, even than when I was in the army and my fellow barrackmates were drunkenly loud and boorish. I have yet to figure out why a draft dodger like Trump is so popular with people who are in the military. And especially by those who went to Viet Nam instead...

C2V I am tempted by your description of the crisp tofu. I often eat vegan and have a few vegan family members too. I usually can't stomach the texture of tofu when I cook with it so it sounds like just the thing to deep fry it. Kokopelli I think a wok could work as long as you have somewhere safe t...

I have a small deep fryer, but it's not "fat," it's vegetable oil. I use it to sear-seal tofu for a variety of recipes - you just can't do it in a pan. The deep frying allows the outside of the tofu to fry up firm evenly and without sticking. The tofu via this method comes out AWESOMELY. ...

I've had several over the years. My big problem with them is that the grease buildup is awfully difficult to clean after a while. My preference is a wok. But with a wok, you have to be more careful since it doesn't regulate the temperature. On the other hand, it can be used for other things, too. A ...

I believe they are "separate"---but inter-related as well. Good conservation measures leads to less "greenhouse gases," which leads to less "climate change" of the nature which we are experiencing these days. Climate change is normal and natural. Remember when they use...

In another thread I said that a lot of modern extremists like to paint themselves as "classic liberals" because they either don't know what it is or they want to gain the credibility of having a semi-respectable ideology without actually changing their views. You can't be a classic libera...
