healing comes through faith:
"
Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes."

not by righteousness

In the gospel of John, the author says he was an eyewitness to the events :) He literally describes himself sitting next to Jesus and being the "disciple that Jesus loved" I think that's another hint. In the other three the love is not emphasized. But in the one that says 'just believe' lo...

Luke certainly seems to be written by the doctor Luke, it has more detail and precision than the other two. Matthew has the most of the insane moral standards teachings, it actually low-key encourages men to castrate themselves...but it's not meant to be acted upon , only to make you realise you ca...

Yeah that discrepancy of Judas death. I could never reconcile that. Most Christian s who want to say the Bible is flawless say he hung himself then fell down. Facts do get distorted and the Chinese whisper thing does make eye witness testimony somewhat unreliable, but it's the best thing we have. Th...

It's so universal and appears at such an early age, that it just seems innate.

I would agree about making a good case study :)

It's unsurprising that he isn't mentioned much because most historical writings were not preserved. Ancient documents had to be copied by scribes.for hundreds of years to reach mainstream acceptance . The Bible was copied by monks who were devoted to that task. It's the most well preserved document ...

I don't remember what the contradictions are exactly. Two have Jesus wearing robes of different colours when the Roman guards are mocking him.
One gospel says he was given a purple robe and I think the other gospel says scarlet.

I didn't notice anything else.

The first three gospels put insane moral standards on anyone who reads them, then the last one called 'john' says just believe. So, they have an overall structure like a movie series but it's the same story four times...with the different expectations. So I believe that is 'inspired' i.e. from God, ...

20 years of trying

I think a lot of straight asd men have the same experience you had.

Yes, autism seems to be the worst, it is people with other mental issues like narcissism that are never without a girlfriend for long.

Ohh K that makes sense. That's pretty bad. Shame they can't have idle Hands social club at work then. In my office job I would do that thing of purposely not looking at the clock , I remember the women used to have long phone conversations with their friends to pass the time at one place. I did that...

'tis a shame. What I did was try to do other things like play games on the computers or read newspapers ....(no smartphones when i worked in an office) I did get in trouble when i did it when there actually was work to do ;) The policy was annoying because it wasnt explicitly stated. We had to just ...

If its still there, thats pretty bad. Seems like you're gettin sabotaged. I had a bad reputation among my friends from school (for being autistic basically), but still managed to score here and there as a teenager.
