I smoke pot sometimes when I feel my antidepressant isn't working the way I want it to.

I was told by my dad that cannabis oil can repair the wiring in your brain if it's damaged.

I can't follow verbal instructions well either. They have to be broken down into simple verbal instructions if the instructiosn are too much at one time or the instructions have to be written down. If you think you have Asperger's, we can give you a direction where to get help but we are not psychol...

What is the actual diagnosis? My scores were Verbal Comprehension-102, Perceptual Reasoning-77, Working Memory-80, and Processing Speed-85. My overall Full Scale IQ according to the psychologist was 83. None of those scores indicated an Asperger's diagnosis but a nonverbal learning disability one. I...

I essentially got fired from a job in fast food because I would constantly ask my supervisor what she wanted me to do when I had nothing else to do. This was four years before my NVLD diagnosis and I'm actually glad I don't work at the restaurant anymore because I did not like my boss. I had another...

Would we wake up in 1995 as the age we are now or in the bodies of our past selves? I was five-years-old for most of 1995 and sadly I don't remember a specific moment in the 90's, just bits and pieces. I remember waking up from a procedure when I was in kindergarten in the 95-96 school year involvin...

You are 22% neurotypical!

You aren't that neurotypical. Social skills aren't your strong suit and you tend to have more skill in other areas, however, you may still enjoy socializing. It is likely that you are autistic.

I've never been tested for ASD but I was diagnosed with NLD. Lol.

I am also on Citalopram and have found it helped quite a lot with my anxiety. I have had a similar side effect to others above in that I gained weight with them, but I would rather be calmer and just buy a bigger pair of trousers. I have comfort eaten as an escape all my life and found it a difficu...

What you probably need is an SSRI antidepressant which I think is used to treat anxiety disorders. My antidepressant, Celexa (citalopram), is part of that class and it works wonders for me and ebbs off the anxiety and depression. I know Zoloft is also an SSRI but if one antidepressant in that class ...

I still do it but it's more subtle. I would constantly walk around my living room, pacing or running and fanta...
