I am so sorry you were hurt by a friend you found lying to you. I caught a good friend in a thick lie several years back and that was very difficult because it had been going on for awhile. I finally had to be bold and call her out on it, and she admitted the truth. It can be hard for me to tell whe...

Sometimes I get this surreal impression I go to this same place over and over and I keep jumping hours ahead...It's like time travel...but it's not really. ;)

Oh, may I steal your avatar, Ms. Steel Maiden? I really find that that one amusing because it's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. ;) Yes, I have really struggled with sensory overload over the years, and I can't imagine London is the best place to be living with it. That would be far too ...

My favorite are the "Yard Sale" signs. I'm always tempted to go take a spade and small bucket and ask the person tending the sale "If you are having a yard sale, may I have these 5 square inches of lawn right over there?" I have similar feelings about "Garage Sale": Can I buy the garage door? Then i...

Thanks. I sent my info off today in a "truth stands simply" form to a friend's wife back east to be proofed. Now I wait. It turns out I might have a few people to proof it actually. That's good. The more I get perspective on this, and what it took to get it finished...I'm very humbled. Apparently th...

Phoenix, I also have high very sensitive eyes. Have you tried turning your screen contrast/brightness down as low as it will go? I keep mine that way on everything. It makes a big difference. Then there is always the option of wearing sunglasses at the computer, lol. The dye I made is not a new colo...

I like that Mineral Water photo...was that taken at Yellowstone? I find it interesting that there are yellow and blue minerals there, but they won't blend chemically in a way so that our eyes pick up green. Green is a fickle color that way in the chemistry/mineral world. Mirror, your rose is also ve...

It depends on what I dislike about them. There are some character dislikes I won't be around if I can avoid it, and I'll ignore or walk away, or excuse them (have told students to leave for being very disrespectful). If I otherwise like somebody who is too touchy-feely (dislike that) I simply mainta...
