You got the right interpretation, and the answer is true, I think. |

I recently transferred from community college to a university and am having trouble being productive. I used to be able to get all my school work done quickly with plenty of extra time to study. Now I find myself spending hours walking around campus trying to find a quiet place to study, usually wi... |

I've fasted before, the longest I've done it is two weeks. Mainly they were tea, water and juice fasts (that is, I drink all of these on a fast, I've never done just exclusively one of these.) I've found the first 1-2 days are the hardest, the rest of the days are easier for a while until the deep ... |

I think men have basically been emasculated. They're treated like dirt. Like women don't need them. I still like having doors opened for me, chairs pulled out, etc. But it seems women now a days are contemptuous of those behaviors as though they feel men are treating them as "inferior" and "incapab... |

You are asking for honest feedback, so I will give you some. I think that the crux of your issues might be portrayed in your following statement: I've noted that people are offended easily and when they feel offended they proceed to do one of two things: 1) Cut off all contact with said person who ... |

I don't think you're an ass. If you didn't know what to say to comfort your friend, then it's understandable that you behaved the way you did. |

Does anybody else constantly make other people very mad without intending to do so? This happens very often to me - not only in real life, but online as well - I keep getting banned and blacklisted, without knowing what I did wrong. you need to ask people what you're doing wrong. someone will be wi... |

I have some of this... but I don't make the corrections anymore because I've been taught that's is not polite when I was a little kid and now, I'm 33, I can't change my behavior. It became a "taboo" for me correcting other people, and it makes me so anxious that I can't breath. I had to leave some ... |

I would get it done while she is still a child. I dont know where you are from but here in the UK there is no funding for adults so you would have to go private and it costs about £300 just for diagnosis, then there is very little help after that. So if you want a dsiagnosis get it now :) Good luck... |

I once had an English supply teacher who didn't think that 'anxiety' was a word and had to look it up in the dictionary. |

If these are people paid to instruct others on facts - then you have every right to be angry if they get something wrong (and voice it - it's no use if you just *think* that they're wrong). I am unabashed about that - I had an Iranian teacher once who made spelling mistakes all over. Granted, she w... |

I didn't read all your post, but 11 isn't too late at all. Many people on this forum were diagnosed later. |

Yes! I used to correct teachers at school if they made mistakes. I'm only trying to be helpful but I've had to start trying to stop myself...people don't like to be corrected... Shouldn't education be a two-way process though. :) Just because someone has a degree or is older than me doesn't ... |

I don't know if this is an AS trait, but I get really frustrated with factual inaccuracies and when I am doing schoolwork I want to make sure that what I am writing is as accurate as possible which means I spend more time researching than is necessary (if it's informative writing in English, for exa... |
