Have you ever been with anyone where you didn't feel like you had to be fake?. No? that's why in social psychology they call subjects "actors" I don't think so. In most situations, yes, I do act, but I often suck at it. But whenever I'm around close friends or family I don't even bother to act. It'... |

If I understand the theory, the process of hyper dilution captures some essence of the original chemicals in the water. You have to believe that there is something more than just the physical properties of the substance involved - that there exists some metaphysical properties that persist through ... |

I think I'm with Dark Lord on this one.
The 16 year old is old enough to know that if you throw a 3 year old 1.5 metres in the air onto concrete then his intention was to kill (I have no doubt).
His only saving grace is if he (the attacker) has a mental illness. |

You know I'm a little lost for words, I can't believe such cruelty can happen in a place like Australia. I'll be writing to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in Western Australia to let them know that I will support the 16 yr old's charges being upgraded to attempted murder. We need to send ... |

A THREE-year-old boy with autism spent two days in hospital after he was thrown from the edge of a skate park, in Perth Australia - falling 3m to the concrete below. “His older brother turned his back to him to get a drink and it was at this time that the offender approached the victim from the left... |

So, in either a "normal conversation" or "normal thread", do you have a habit for quickly killing conversation or, the digital equivalent, killing an online thread (Let's say the thread is on a predominantly NT forum, and the thread itself isn't just your similarly aspergian cronies, as we know the... |

cyberdad my daughter went to a special autism program for preschool when we lived in the US and they put reading and writing on her IEP because she was already doing that so they saw no reason to hold her back. Yeah I know that the US and UK are well ahead of Australia in terms of special education... |

If the homeopathic medicine contains even a dilute concentration of hallucinogenic alkaloid, that purports to have side-effects then it can't be a placebo. But if you wan't to call it snake oil that's fine by me. |

Atropine is extracted from deadly nightshade ("Belladonna"), . I was surprised to find that Belladona is still legally sold in the USA as a eye drop remedy for pinkeye. I recall in the 1970s it was very popular among young girls in Australia to induce dilation of the pupils to give one the impressi... |
