Everyone seems to have grown up without a diagnosis. As a person who did grow up with a diagnosis I'm actually traumatized by it. But I can't speak for everyone. I guess growing up with a diagnosis has its good side that I probably take for granted, but even so, I don't think many spectrumers are as...

f*****g s**theads upstairs driving me bonkers. Sounds like they're constantly moving furniture around and stamping about. I'm fed up with living with my ears constantly having to be shielded. Even when I was away in a quiet hotel I still felt I had to put in my earplugs because I've gotten too used ...

Yes, Moss and Data spring to mind. Hm...who else. I don't relate to Quinnie from Heartbreak High, she seems rather too excitable. Not a character, but the autistic actor Joe Thomas is very relatable, especially the puzzled expressions he makes at everything. The same Joe Thomas in the Inbetweeners?...

Thanks people. I've brushed my teeth for 4 minutes instead of 2 tonight, to make up for it. My teeth feel OK. Yeah they won't all fall out because you missed a day It's Google. Why does it do that? Today it told me that having a song in my head for more than 24 hours is worrying and means I could h...

I have babies...little fur babies. I don't think I'll ever have human babies because of my unnatural intolerance to pain.

My boyfriend keeps getting emails from Facebook sent to him saying his account has been hacked into
or something. The thing is, he doesn't have a Facebook account and as never even attempted to create one before.
Does this sound like spam that we should just ignore?

I went out for coffee with my one friend! A real person! I told her we will be moving house next year and she said she'd miss me! I told her she's really been the only person who cares about me locally and made it worth living here. Otherwise I've been suicidal with loneliness and feeling excluded,...

One of the main takeaways from my OP was to demonstrate how and why it happened based on my unique circumstances at the time, so people would understand and relate to my experience and be able to put themselves in my shoes at least a little. Perhaps if people still want to share what they “would ha...

I would like to add the negative experiences I have had with men in the past and how I dealt with it, but I'm afraid of it looking like I'm judging here or something, even though I wouldn't be, I'd just be saying what I done or would have done if it had happened here, but maybe I won't post just in...

Usually people touch me on the shoulder when they're showing support, even though it's not for everyone. I don't mind being touched though, within reason of course. I'm the sort of person who prefers non-precise language to communicate and understand one another. It's why I often question my diagnos...

You can’t know what you would’ve done unless the exact situation happened to you personally, so you might want to avoid going there. Yes, I figured that. I can only imagine, not predict. But this is your thread so I respect that it's entirely up to you what you want and don't want wrote here, as it...
