My daughter firmly believes that my sz/sz-a is secondary to the ASD(Asperger's). The bullying and stress from being an undiagnosed autistic child then teenager - a trigger for psychosis. I tend to lose the plot when under pressure and stressed. I didn't get the dx till I was 62. |

Reaction time tests are a bit of an interest. Age 67. Don't play video games. RTSD > mean reaction time |

RTSD is more important than mean reaction time. A shorter mean reaction time will tend to result in a lower RTSD. Mean reaction time increases with age thus so does RTSD. |

How things have panned out for me is a classic example of social drift. I was raised in a solidly middle class family. We were quite well off, but not top 1% well off. I was privately educated at prep and then public school. My father had a brief spell as an army officer, before switching to work at... |

Misspeaks happen to all of us at some time or other,it's a natural part of being human. Those who see it as something to viciously mock and ridicule are the one's who truly show how unintelligent and thoroughly odious they are. |

But since some NT have these abilities too it raises the question does the autistic person have this “superpower” because of the autism or is it just statistical chance throughout the population. NT have unusual abilities but an autistic person has similar ones it’s unusual unexpected and suddenly ... |

@zzmnd I'm impressed and glad that you're near to getting your PhD, despite your poor independent living skills. I wish you great success with whatever you choose to do. In the mid 1970s I struggled unsuccessfully to balance pleasing my parents, by being the first in my family to get university, wit... |

^ It would be great to be able to write such a book, but my organisational and planning skills aren't up to doing so. It's the same with a website. Have always wanted one, but even with templates provided I just can't do it. I've always had quite a lot of difficulty getting what I know onto paper/no... |
