I loved the story and the characters. It became really sentimental to me because of my friendship with another autistic person. The scene with all the letters on the wall still makes me tear up.

That being said, I can't stand computer animation and had a VERY hard time watching it visually.

I attempted to have ginger ale but I've been lightheaded with the shakes so I couldn't hold the can over the glass.
I poured it all over my desk instead.
My daughter rescued me by bringing ice water (and a towel).
Everyone's been sick lately so I hope I'm not catching it.

I don't have a microwave and I'm hella disorganized with cooking because of timing all the different parts. Also my oven doesn't work worth a crap and can take 3-4 hours to reach temperature sometimes if it happens at all. That means I usually just do stove-top stuff, or lots of toast and salads. If...

Are you diagnosed with MDD as well, or do you think you might have it in addition to DPDR? I'm curious because I've felt the same way most of my life: not connecting with the person in the mirror, feeling like I'm in a bit of a dreamscape, and not having much emotional engagement with things because...

Don’t even get me started on John Travolta. It’s weird to me that he was so popular because he wasn’t even a very good actor. I didn’t get invested in their love story because I didn’t like him. I kept on hoping someone better would come along. Yeah, I've never liked him either. It's especial...

I was ten when it came out. I saw it at the drive-in for a birthday party with a carload of girls. I didn't know what a virgin was and didn't know how to ask. I could tell it had to do with "goody two-shoes" vs. "not", but didn't even know what sex was. I liked the catchy last so...

I agree. ^ My kids didn't gain much from it. In Primary they were withdrawn from their regular class to have an "enrichment" class once or twice a week. The focus was on doing open-ended research. They didn't find any of it particularly interesting and resented being singled out or removed...
