Because this kind of habit building deteriorates my already weak mental health. All of those take more anxiety to use, more depression to develop. I do nothing that is outrageously socially unnaceptable to warrant that kind of pavlovian reeducation. What is bad or good is for me to decide, not them...

But yeah, this "mask" is getting difficult to wear, and i feel my sense of what is me and what is the "mask" blending together and deteriorating my sanity Doesn't it mean you are internalizing behavior your sister wants your to adopt and thus it is not really a mask anymore? Eve...

I have hyperosmia. I can smell a lot of stuff others can't. Was when I was like 10 I noticed our neighbor has some weird smell of raw milk or something, and it turned out she was 2 months pregnant. This smell disappeared when she stopped breastfeeding. Now I know what this smell is and can recognize...

Not a doctor, but make sure you eat healthy food with variety of proteins, especially rich in tryptophan, cover all vitamins and minerals, get enough sunlight and exercise. SSRIs do not solve serotonin supply problem. If your brain can't synthesize serotonin due to deficit of tryptophan in your food...

The fitness industry is not about health, but about looks. It's about the Ego a lot of the time and people look nice on the outside, but how many issues are they creating within, for them to see once the benefits of their training goes down the drain. Fitness industry is about money just like any o...

Calories and nutrition are 2 separate things, but you should have both. You need a caloric deficit to lose weight. But you need proper nutrition to have energy and be healthy in many other aspects. A 1500 calorie diet of twinkies may make you lose weight, but isn't healthy. A 3000+ calorie diet of ...

Bizarre to you---not bizarre to me. I just don't see the "contradiction." If you want to believe in "planned" sex, go right ahead. No skin off my back. 'Everyone is individual, everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, what works one one person, might not work for another'...

I never write what I don't believe just for the sake of being a "devil's advocate." Many times you replied to me with phrases like "what works for one person might not work for another person", "flexible approach is the best approach", "we should be person-centere...

BadRobot. I'm not trying to do anything. I have my view on this---and you have your view. C'est la vie! If there's one thing I can't stand: It's an argument just for the sake of an argument. I'm not arguing. I'm expressing my amazement. "argument just for the sake of an argument" is exact...

Having sex is just not as necessary for survival as drinking water. Yep, but every time I say something as straightforward as "human body needs water to stay hydrated", you are trying to object my opinion with arguments like "what works for one person might not work for another perso...

Sex should never be a “planned” thing. What works for one person might not work for another person. It's is really amazing how you use this argument in discussion about basic physiological processes like "human body needs water to stay hydrated" which applies to every living human, but al...

This is not really about formal business arrangement, it's about mindset. I'm trying to explain it here over and over again when see people wanting to be given a job, like they are at mercy of higher beings or something. You can be your own boss in many-many fields, work as an independent contractor...

There is an old joke about a student giving his professor insomnia by asking which side does he fold his beard when he sleeps. It's a funny exaggeration, but sometimes something like that might actually happen.

I would try to learn by observation and approach later. When people doing something right asked to share their secret of success, they often would tell you subjective story, what they feel is important, but often dismiss factors that actually made them successful. I can't directly observe him, our ...
