Might not be the best thing but I've a friend who worked their way up to being a band/act manager from being a roadie. You gain a lot of contacts being a roadie/head roadie and if you can produce and mix stuff well then it's a great way to find a lot of work. Business cards/portfolio website are nee...

It depends on which context you mean it in now I think about it, most of it doesn't matter because you can still be considered the weird one of a group and they still love you regardless of your differences. If you mean fitting into a work force in fear of losing your job as an example then I suppos...

I used to hold meets for people with selective mutism in central Manchester off some old forums before the mods went mental with power and started banning people for silly reasons. I've a hoard of interesting aspie friends arou...

At this point I'm considering working for someone else because running your own business is beyond annoying. It feels good to earn your own money but I'm starting to feel a bit lazier, plus doing my taxes is the worst thing ever. http://i.imgur.com/W6gy0Za.gif I wouldn't say I was proud of it though...

Are you saying I am not protecting his job by just saying "Hello, thanks for your help". A response like "Your welcome" isn't a way to sack his job. That is way too harsh. That is passive-aggressive and bullying tactics by ignoring the public member. I think it's more like, they...

We tend to see things through our own experiences in life. It's important to look objectively because our core beliefs may or may not be compatible with experiences of those we analyze. Some people are attracted to dominant, abusive personalities likely shaped from past experiences and fall into th...

Hey welcome, sounds like you progressed well then, well done.
With the keeping in touch with people, I suck at that too as I'm always doing something or can't be bothered to reply. I find that sometimes you just have to force yourself otherwise you get branded as ignorant lol.

I wouldn't use one for myself but it could come in handy for kids if the AI was a bit more intelligent. Like an early learning tool with a cute voice or something.

I am gonna be direct and assume which is probably a bad idea and say I am sorry QA is an as*hole, immaturity is not always a bad thing but I disapprove somewhat of the stunt that I am assuming contributed to the above post. Some topics should be approached with some maturity and that display earlie...

I always found it fascinating that people can be super immature when they're middle aged or very close to being middle aged, like you'd think they'd of learned how to adult in all that time but nope. I don't mean like, arrested development but generally playground bullying at that age. It makes me c...

Oh I get the voice thing as well, it's just from not having a practiced voice I guess. I only have one volume setting haha. It honestly depends on my mood though, if I'm wasted I don't care I'll talk to anyone about anything. Most of the time though I'd prefer one or two people as it's easier. Huge ...
