I don't mind showers. I take one once a week or so. Between showers I wash up at the bathroom sink a bit. I cannot stand baths. Sitting in a tub of water that get progressively colder and dirtier is not for me. I have to wash the dirt down an open drain instead. I might be able to take a Japanese st...

You can try the "keto" diet. People lose quite a bit on it if you can stomach it. If not, portion control is a big thing. Otherwise, just keep exercising like you are doing. And don't go to the weigh scale every day! Once a month if that. As long as you are exercising, that's the Important...

I can't handle being the focus of attention. Whether it be in front of a crowd or just one. BUT, I am OK in the masses. That is why I have always been alone. Having been in the military, there are parades all the time. I have been in platoons that have won drill competitions. But, being called out &...

Cripes... I called the urologists office to see about getting in earlier & completely lost it. She said she hated something like that bladder cancer flyer! IF I had googled BEFORE I called the doctor and IF I didn't;t get that flyer, none of this would be happening now. The website I landed on s...

I am almost always left out by friends. They think of me when they need me to tend their dogs or plants (!) when they are away. For meet-ups at the local coffee shop, rarely. But then I am not really one to socialize. I'd rather make a decent coffee at home and do stuff that interest me anyway. I us...

So true.

I have to wait to see a urologist. But all seems ok once again. :?

I had decreased intake of coffee for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be normal once again. Who knows!?!

The hearing aids are no problem. They are there to help me, not anyone else. If they have any issues, I don't care. No pain, just wondering what it could be. Thursday's mail came with a flyer "See Red? See your doctor." It was all about Bladder Cancer! What timing! I hope it isn't that, as...

I'd never laugh out loud if that was the case. I am always alone!

I have chuckled on parade (military) when someone flubs marching. Then I do the same thing but never notice! Although EVERYONE can't help but notice.

It's normal to laugh out loud, whether you are alone or with someone.

I am inconsistent with journals. But I do try. I took out a subscription to an iOS & Mac app for doing this. I'll never fill up the pages to the point of having to put something aside. Since Thursday past, I am trying to keep track of what is happening. Maybe brother will get some insight to me ...

Well, I have had a crappy start to the new year. I was walking in the park on Thursday & had to take a leak. I look down to cover up the evidence to see red snow with the yellow. That can't have been from me, I thought. Got home, went again, complete with non-dispersing drops of blood in the toi...

There will probably be a bit of taste to the beer. Not wine though! Pot-infused wine? Ugh!

But then pot-infused beer is an Ugh to me too.

Either is fine by me. I live in a small town, where people see each other all the time. I guess we are pretty casual in small towns. What is bothersome to others is how they are addressed after introducing themselves. A friend, Andrew, likes to be called "Andrew". But most people will imme...

How prescient was the mail yesterday? A flyer arrived, "See Red. See you doctor".

Damned if I didn't see red yesterday. Damned if I didn't see the doctor too.

Now it is 0250 EST, and after getting up 2 or 3 times, I couldn't get back to sleep.
