I just had a birthday a few days ago. But if I had one coming up soon (for the way I am feeling now), I would like to jump into a time machine and go back to this fine restaurant that is now no more that my parents used to take me to on my birthdays in the '70s. The place was beautiful and the food ...

Hues Corporation did “Rock the Boat” in 1974. That was an excellent song in my opinion. The '70s ... yes ... that was my favorite era of music. It was magical for me. The music in me blossomed in that era. Though quite young (still in school), I began performing music professionally in this decade....

I am thinking, "How can I finish my book of memoirs about growing up with Asperger's ... How can I finish what I truly believe is a masterpiece short story that I want to put in an anthology of classic style horror stories ... and How can I finish the musical that I have been working on when ev...

The song I am obsessed with is one that I do not know where I heard it. I don't know the name of it or who performed it. In fact, it is possible that I created the song in my head many years ago, perhaps based upon another song that I may have heard. The closest song I can find to it is "Manhat...

Frustrated ... (but) I'm frustrated because I cannot get the time to finish my three major projects (book, short story for an anthology, musical). Every time I think I am getting a day to work on one of these, something gets on my calendar preventing me from devoting the time I need to work on these...

As a child, I was often told by those around me that I acted too serious. I was made aware that this often meant that I acted too grown up for my age. Even though I had a best friend who was my age, I usually felt more comfortable around adults. While most kids were playing ball or having parties, I...

Escapism keeps me sane. Escapism is daydreaming on a much deeper and personal level. Escapism is the submergence into the core of the soul. Healthy? As long as one knows when it is the proper time to escape from the escapism. I have various worlds or realms that I escape into. Some are factual ... s...

After purchasing an 1885 upright grand piano in 1985 (one hundred years after it was built), I began stumbling into songwriting. Over the course of many years I wrote many tunes. And then in 2015 as my parents' health was failing, I bought an electric piano and submerged myself into more writing as ...

I do not like the taste of most alcoholic beverages including beer, wines, etc. However, I do like Seagrams flavored drinks and pina coladas. But I do not desire to drink them often. I may go a year or more without drinking an alcoholic beverage.

My mind is like a movie theater -- replaying my memories, thinking about the future, solving problems, etc. Every night as I lay down to sleep, I submerge myself into visual movie like situations. I even navigate my favorite house plans and ride historic wooden roller coasters or other rides in movi...
