If Cold World never ended, then all the democratic, developed NATO members are now First World. If it ended, then the term is obsolete. In both cases, Poland was historically Second World but it is not anymore. If NATO East Flank has reasons to worry, then the whole NATO does. Totally including the ...

While the POTUS is a powerful individual, if someone lives in a developed first-world country other than the USA, then it really makes no difference who the POTUS is. It will have a very minimal impact on their lives. Sure, you can argue that in third-world or volatile countries it matters, if a PO...

Of course, terrorists will always claim the state is violent towards them so their actions are justified. Just like many criminals claim their penalties are only meant to harm them by an evil state. The things that matter are, I believe, two: 1. Is the reaction proportional to the actual threat? Tha...

After some 15 years, we've decided to buy a TV. And then, our daughters started to ask for a game console to add to it, for they want to play Just Dance and similar games. My husband has a high-end gaming PC he also uses for work, so the console won't be the only gaming machine in the house - but co...

Diagnoses are needed for things like state-sponsored support or official medical documentation.
Communities are for sharing experiences.
We consider it different areas.
This particular community does not require official diagnoses, only respect for autistic experiences all over the world.

The whole world is in a very volatile place. Europe and Middle East are having big wars that may spill outside and become even bigger wars. Pacific is unstable, too. Anyone powerful right now needs deep knowledge and great responsibility. POTUS first of them all. American conflicts on topics like ab...

Trying on wedding dresses can certainly be fun but it is not even a baby step towards any functional marriage. It's just fun for fun.

Interesting. Either an artifact of experimental methods or potentially new insight into origins of life. More research needed. A lot of questions - how do they get energy? What is their life cycle? What is their role in human organism? Do they only infect other organisms or do they live in other env...

The smallest student's guitar, 1/4, is around the same size (they claim it's around 44cm scale).
My friend wants to get one - she isn't as exp'd in realtime transpositions as I am but wants something small and lightweight, too - so I might organize to buy her one for a birthday and check out.

For comparison, my ukulele is 35 cm (13.75 in) and my guitar is 65 cm (25.5 in).

I must gave been really nice beacuse I got the guitarlele I wished for for Christmas  Guitarlele is a mongrel of guitar and ukulele - small, six strings, tuned a-e-c-g-d-a (like a guitar with a capo at 5). Some men claim it has too little space for fingers but I had the opposite problem with ...

Some people are just sensitive in general.
If being sensitive about oneself and about the rest of the world is roughly in balance, they are just sensitive people.

Having dealt with some people I strongly suspect of covert narcissism: There is a difference between a feeling of discomfort when someone criticizes you vs a complete agressive or passive-agressive outburst as a reaction to any criticism. Everyone has some ego and in general it's normal and healthy ...
