I have a really small list of foods I am willing to order or can eat and I have a ranking system of how to choose from them consisting of price and preference. I honestly could not care about the rest of the menu, it really does not exist in my world.

I'd say no in the world as is, one life time is more then enough. However if the ASD rates continue to climb, perhaps very close to the golden 50/50 mark then perhaps I'd say yes. I'd have an advantage over all of the other new autistics because of all of my prior experience :D. I will let you know ...

I have noticed the sounds while in some newer cars with the lower ground clearances and lower profile tires. It is not a problem really although I don't own or drive one of these cars so my experience is limited. I roll the window down and turn the radio up so all I hear is my own engine and music. ...

I don't think I would, I hate line ups and crowds. I can usually tolerate those things quite well to a point if I am really interested in the end result for doing it. I have no interest in Disney parks though so that would not work.

I never understood the logic of it being hidden because it clearly isn't. Where the "hidden disability" term comes from is that there isn't any obvious physical signs such as missing limbs, wheelchairs, walkers or like other developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome where their are a variety ...

It is kind of hard to disclose and then turn around and expect people to treat you like a typical person. With all of my logic I have yet to figure out how one can do that and make it all work out.

Just visited Canada to see relatives. I also liked how they use the metric system! My turn to visit Canada to see relatives. How come Subway don't do a 15cm sub or a 30cm-long? some metric things do not make for a snappy turn of phrase. for example, a 12 inch sub [sounds like it] beats a 15 centime...

Look out the window or check the thermometer, that's what I usually do unless it really matters. In Canada there is usually a severe weather warning with the red screen and everything every day from October to April so the forecast is really pointless. So I follow Rick Mercer's advice and I don't pa...

Thanks for describing the movies plot to me, I found it incredibly disturbing too, the part where the people get put through the meat grinder. I listened to material from the Wall almost everyday so upon finding out about the movie I asked for a copy for Christmas. I watched it when I was 14 and did...

If you do go the medication route watch out for the side effects, weight gain, drying out hair etc. and be prepared to stop and don't hesitate if you see any reason to be concerned. It is amazing how the human body can be so badly ravaged by such small pills. I prefer to be un-medicated as I have to...

Yes I have a strong sense of honor. I sometimes don't intend to forgive easily, I am just so much of a pushover that I end up forgiving anyway. I am the kind of person who easily goes down with the ship then wastes a lot of resources trying to raze it.

Generally, my voice is soft and people have difficulty hearing what I say. Like in restaurants, the waiters/waitresses sometimes don't hear what I say and I have to repeat myself or whomever I am with says what I said for me. My voice is quiet when I'm feeling shy or anxious (in most social situati...
