My worst paranoia is receiving mail. Official letters are bad, ones without a return address I often don't open at all. As far as I'm concerned, if they don't care enough to tell me who sent the mail, then I don't care enough to open it. And the rare personnel hand written letter scares the hell out...

Similar to my own experience Stormtrooper. When I was young, I would memorise faces. I remember telling people "I'm not good with names, but I never forget a face". Now days I don't recognise my own work colleague if they wear a different coloured shirt. My memory is very good up until it ...

Up close I would say 9 or above. At a distance I can look people (at the eye), but it still bothers me to extent that I can't hear them. With people I'm close to and very familiar with, I can do it sort of comfortably some times, for a short period. To me, it feels like looking into hell itsself. It...

I understand the unfairness of the situation, and just how crewel it is for a mother to have her children taken away. I come from a divorced family. All I can say is: Cherish the times you are with your children. And don't run down (belittle, accuse) their father in front of them. They love their da...

It's a simple lack of understanding of their part. For them the world is simple, socializing is simple, hearing in a crowded room is simple, understanding double-speek is simple, ect. It's a lack on their part, understanding that you have challenges doing those things. Not your fault, not something ...

I'm a guy, but I've always found it far easier to talk to and relate to tomboys.

The more feminen the girl, the more scared I am of them. My mind locks up and I can't talk to them at all.

So for me, I get along with the tomboys far easier.

Ouch... I'm having ptsd flashbacks... honestly, I have no doubt in my mind rushing a german machine gun nest in ww2 is easier than dealing with consistent romantic failure... Interesting, I often think the same thing. I've bought many books and read them all. Seen therapists for personnel developme...

I read the bible a lot when I was young, and I fell in love with the incredible efficiency of the Old English. Those sentences are tightly packed with information. I used to use them a lot, but I don't use them as much these days. I still like to confuse people on occasion, but I do it on purpose :)...

redbox1 what types of things can we do to help him feel accepted and confident? He will be accepted in certain circles, he will never be "normal". I say, work on his self-esteem, his self-confidence, and his attitude about self. If he's comfortable in his own skin, critisms about his mistakes or ina...

Good one TallyMan. I'm a very visual person. My dreams are often full colour, full texture, fully animated from the near distance to the horizon. I've noticed recently that sounds also occur in my dreams, though they aren't as common. When I was young I believed for years that was at my mothers wedd...
