Nope....people went for the shots lock, stock, and barrel. And, in the early 60s, they went for the liquid vaccine.

There was very little protest at all dealing with polio vaccines or with quarantines.

Is there any way you could keep in contact with this therapist in an "informal" sort of way?

Allowing, or disallowing Typhoid Mary from working in restaurants should not be a "political issue" at all. She was, rightfully, disallowed from working in restaurants because she it was obvious she was passing Typhoid Fever, a deadly disease, to patrons of those restaurants. If we don't s...

There have always been persons of an "Aspergian/autistic" bent who have been able to invent useful things, and to evoke expansion, in mind, from the "status quo" in general. There have also been persons of a more "neurotypical" bent who have been able to do the same thi...

Now, we have to get those people who benefitted from federal unemployment insurance back on payrolls. One of the main problems, these days, is finding childcare for those who seek to work, but have difficulty finding or affording childcare. It's going to be especially hard for people who had relativ...

Nope....we are not the "next step in evolution."

Nope....we don't have the "Neanderthal gene."

I am RIGHT ON TOPIC. We are talking about the Greek-letter system which "Incels" often invoke when justifying their ideology.

I believe "incels" with a capital "I" live under delusionary conditions, borne out of a lack of contact with the "real world."

I actually liked disco in the 70s. I wouldn't have admitted that to most kids in my high school, though. Some of it "sucked," so I do believe, partially, what was said on the "Disco Sucks" tee shirts. I was an adult in the 1990s. Not-so-great stuff happened to me during that deca...

I was born with a lot of "disadvantages." I've been able to transcend them to some degree. I'm a short man who is rather nerdy and rather clumsy, while not dressing all that well----yet I've had many women be attracted to me. I wouldn't say that I'm an "exemplar" of the "bet...

I'm the opposite. I'm very poor at preparing for speeches. I'm pretty poor at delivering them, too. I'm not good with Powerpoint.

I do better "ad hoc," but really not that much better.

I'm not good in formal contexts at all. I do better within informal contexts.

I have a generalized "body dyspraxia." It's mild, but it's evident. It used to make me seem "disabled," though that has lessened over the course of my life. I was a full-brown, nonverbal autistic person, oblivious to the world around me, until I was 5 1/2 years old. Then I became...

Barely in positive territory. I'm a spoiled brat. I don't like big cleaning jobs.

My father was a four-pack-a day smoker. He quit cold turkey in 1964, after the famous Surgeon General's report I'm not sure---but he might have suffered some ill effects of his past smoking when he developed respiratory problems just before he passed away in 2018. My mother was a substantial smoker,...

Yep. You can be nonverbal, yet a genius.

The Spectrum is vast, indeed.

If I were you, I wouldn't broach the subject at all with her---unless she broaches the subject with you.

Just keep it professional.

I would be hurt, too, if I were in your situation.
