I can't count in my head without losing focus. I noticed when I was a child and people told me to count sheep. My mind always wandered when I got to about #4. I wondered what my problem was. If I could deal with hyperfocus I probably wouldn't be replying to this thread right now. :D One way that sometimes works for me is to "externalize" the missing EF. One of the jobs of EF is the job to "Stop" some mental task. Another job is to "Start" some mental task. ...
